Matthew마태복음 1:23-25
마1:23보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라 24요셉이 잠을 깨어 일어나서 주의 사자의 분부대로 행하여 그 아내를 데려왔으나 25아들을 낳기까지 동침치 아니하더니 낳으매 이름을 예수라 하니라(마1:23-25)
23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[a] (which means “God with us”.
24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
(Matthew 1:23-25마2:9박사들이 왕의 말을 듣고 갈쌔 동방에서 보던 그 별이 문득 앞서 인도하여 가다가 아기 있는 곳 위에 머물러 섰는지라 10저희가 별을 보고 가장 크게 기뻐하고 기뻐하더라 11집에 들어가 아기와 그 모친 마리아의 함께 있는 것을 보고 엎드려 아기께 경배하고 보배합을 열어 황금과 유향과 몰약을 예물로 드리니라(마2:9-11)9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matthew 2:9-11

A. 예수님은 누구신가?
Who is Jesus?
1. 예수님은 살아계시는 하나님의 아들이십니다.
Jesus is the son of the living God. (Matthew 16:16)
예수님은 제자들에게 사람들이 나를 주구라고 하느냐 물으셨습니다. 사람들은 자기 나름대로 예수님에 대해 평합니다. 제자들이 말하기를 세례요한입니다. 엘리야라고 합니다. 어떤이는 예레미아나 선지자중의 한 사람이라 고 말하고 있습니다. 그때 베드로가 대답하여 가로되 주는 그리스도요 살아계신 하나님의 아들이십니다.
예수님은 베드로에게 네게 복이 있다고 말씀하시면 너는 베드로라 그 반석위에 내 교회를 세우시겠다고 하셨습니다.
2. 예수님은 창조주십니다.(Hebrews히1:2)
Jesus is the Creator.
히브리어 1장 2절은 “이 모든 날 마지막에는 아들을 통해 우리에게 말씀하셨으니 이 아들을 만유의 상속자로 세우시고 또 그로 말미암아 모든 세계를 지으셨느니라”고 말합니다. 요한복음 1장 역시 “태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라. 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라”고 알려줍니다.
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
3. 사도요한이 기록한 7가지 예수님 모습.
The 7 characteristics of Jesus accordingly to Apostle John.
1) 나는(예수님)은 생명의 떡이다.(요6:35,38)
Bread of life.
35예수께서 가라사대 내가 곧 생명의 떡이니 내게 오는 자는 결코 주리지 아니할 터이요 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리라 35Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)
38내가 하늘로서 내려 온 것은 내 뜻을 행하려 함이 아니요 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me (John6:38)
2) 나는 세상의 빛이다(요8:12; 9:5)
Light of the world.
12예수께서 또 일러 가라사대 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어두움에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라 (요8:12)
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” (John8:12)
5 '내가 세상에 있는 동안에는 세상의 빛이로라 '(요 9:5)
5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (John9:5)
3) 나는 양의 문이다(요10:7,9)
Gate for the sheep.
7 예수께서 다시 이르시되 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 나는 양의 문이라
9내가 문이니 누구든지 나로 말미암아 들어가면 구원을 얻고 또는 들어가며 나오며 꼴을 얻으리라
Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out and find pasture. (John 10:7-9)
4) 나는 선한 목자다 (요10:11,14)
The good shepherd.
11나는 선한 목자라 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 목숨을 버리거니와
11“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
14나는 선한 목자라 내가 내 양을 알고 양도 나를 아는 것이 15아버지께서 나를 아시고 내가 아버지를 아는 것 같으니 나는 양을 위하여 목숨을 버리노라
14“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me (John10:11,14)
5) 나는 부활이요 생명이다 (요11:25)
The resurrection and the life.
25예수께서 가라사대 나는 부활이요 생명이니 나를 믿는 자는 죽어도 살겠고 26무릇 살아서 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 죽지 아니하리니 이것을 네가 믿느냐
25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
6) 나는 길이요 진리요 생명이다 (요14:6)
The way and the truth.
6예수께서 가라사대 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라 7너희가 나를 알았더면 내 아버지도 알았으리로다 이제부터는 너희가 그를 알았고 또 보았느니라
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (John 14:6,7)
7) 내가 참 포도나무요 (요15:1-5)
The true vine.
1내가 참 포도나무요 내 아버지는 그 농부라 2무릇 내게 있어 과실을 맺지 아니하는 가지는 아버지께서 이를 제해 버리시고 무릇 과실을 맺는 가지는 더 과실을 맺게 하려하여 이를 깨끗케 하시느니라 3너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하였으니 4내 안에 거하라 나도 너희 안에 거하리라 가지가 포도나무에 붙어 있지 아니하면 절로 과실을 맺을 수 없음 같이 너희도 내 안에 있지 아니하면 그러하리라 5나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지니 저가 내 안에, 내가 저 안에 있으면 이 사람은 과실을 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라
7너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라
1 “I am the true vine, and my father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (John 15:1-7)
B. 왜 예수님은 이땅에 오셨습니까?
Why did Jesus come to the world?
1. 세상을 구원하시기 위해서 (Matthew마1:21)
To save the world.
마귀의 자녀가 한자님의 자녀로 예수님이 오심으로 하나님은 아버지요 우리는 자녀가 된 것이 바로 구원입니다.
21아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라 22이 모든 일의 된 것은 주께서 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이니 가라사대 23보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). (Matthew 1:21-23)
2. 양으로 생명을 얻게 하기 위해서
To lay down his life for the sheep. (요10:10, 13-15)
목자는 양을 위하여 목숨을 버린다고 하였습니다.
10도적이 오는 것은 도적질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (dy10:10)
13달아나는 것은 저가 삯군인 까닭에 양을 돌아보지 아니함이나 14나는 선한 목자라 내가 내 양을 알고 양도 나를 아는 것이 15아버지께서 나를 아시고 내가 아버지를 아는 것 같으니 나는 양을 위하여 목숨을 버리노라 ( 요10:13-15) 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. 14“ I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep (John 10:13-15)
3. 더 풍성함을 주기 위해 (요10:1,11하)
To give us an abundant life.
1내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 양의 우리에 문으로 들어가지 아니하고 다른데로 넘어가는 자는 절도며 강도요10도적이 오는 것은 도적질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라 11나는 선한 목자라 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 목숨을 버리거니와 1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber (John 10:1)
10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:10-11)
4. 영생을 주시기 위해 (요6:40)
To give us eternal life.
40내 아버지의 뜻은 아들을 보고 믿는 자마다 영생을 얻는 이것이니 마지막 날에 내가 이를
다시 살리리라 하시니라
40 For my father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” (John 6:40)
C. 어떻게 예수님을 맞이 할 수 있습니까?
How can we be ready to greet Jesus?
1. 감사함으로 섬기며 살아가야
Live with gratitude and stewardship.
“여호와는 광대하시니 극진히 찬양할 것이요 모든 신보다 경외할 것임이여 만방의 모든
신은 헛것이요 여호와께서는 하늘을 지으셨음이로다.(대상 16:25~26)
25 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
(1Chronicles 16:25,26)
우리는 이런 하나님께 감사해야 합니다. 나를 이렇게 지어주심에 감사해야 합니다.
이와 함께 아름다운 성도로서의 삶을 제대로 살지 못함에 대해 반드시 회개해야 합니다.
2. 주님을 전폭적으로 의지하고 신뢰하며 살아야
Entrust yourself fully to the Lord.
“여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시니라 무릇 사람을 믿으며 육신으로 그의 힘을 삼고 마음이 여호와에게서 떠난 그 사람은 저주를 받을 것이라. 그는 사막의 떨기나무 같아서 좋은 일이 오는 것을 보지 못하고 광야 간조한 곳, 건전한 땅, 사람이 살지 않는 땅에 살리라 그러나 무릇 여호와를 의지하며 여호와를 의뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이라.”(렘 17:5~7)
5 This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. 6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. (Jeremiah 17:5-7)
3. 새롭게 하시는 재 창조의 주님을 바라봐야 (히12:1-2)
Fix your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of faith.
“모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며 2믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1,2)
주님은 오늘도 창조주로서 만물을 새롭게 하고 계십니다. 내 삶을 새롭게 할 수 있도록 주님께 인생을 맡깁시다. 주님께 인생을 맡길 때 내 심령과 삶이 새로워지는 은혜를 누립니다. ‘내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서’라고 기도합시다. 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받읍시다. 그리하여 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고, 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 잘 분별하도록 합시다(롬12:2)
2Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)
우리에게 주시는 교훈
Today’s Lesson
1. 예수님은 참 좋으신 분이십니다.
Jesus is so good, He is so good, He is so good to you and me.
2. 예수님과 함께 있으면 많은 열매를 맺어 하나님과 영광을 돌리고 예수님의 제자가 됩니다. (요15:8)
8 This is to my father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
