2 Chronicles역대하 12:1-16
1르호보암이 나라가 견고하고 세력이 강하매 여호와의 율법을 버리니 온 이스라엘이 본받은지라 2저희가 여호와께 범죄하였으므로 르호보암왕 오년에 애굽 왕 시삭이 예루살렘을 치러 올라오니 3저에게 병거가 일천 이백승이요 마병이 육만이며 애굽에서 좇아나온 무리 곧 훕과 숩과 구스 사람이 불가승수라 4시삭이 유다의 견고한 성읍을 취하고 예루살렘에 이르니 5때에 유다 방백들이 시삭을 인하여 예루살렘에 모였는지라 선지자 스마야가 르호보암과 방백들에게 나아와 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 너희가 나를 버렸으므로 나도 너희를 버려 시삭의 손에 붙였노라 하셨다 한지라
14르호보암이 마음을 오로지하여 여호와를 구하지 아니함으로 악을 행하였더라
1After Rehoboam’s position as king was established and he had become strong, he and all Israel with him abandoned the law of the Lord. 2Because they had been unfaithful to the Lord, Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem in the fifth year of King Rehoboam. 3With twelve hundred chariots and sixty thousand horsemen and the innumerable troops of Libyans, Sukkites and Cushites that came with him from Egypt, 4he captured the fortified cities of Judah and came as far as Jerusalem. 5Then the prophet Shemaiah came to Rehoboam and to the leaders of Judah who had assembled in Jerusalem for fear of Shishak, and he said to them, “This is what the Lord says, ‘You have abandoned me; therefore, I now abandon you to Shishak.’ (2Chronicles 12:1-5, ) 14He did evil because he had not set his heart on seeking the Lord. (2Chronicles 12:14)
A. 신앙생활의 위기란?
What are the challenges we will face in our faith?
믿음생활을 하다보면 신앙의 위기를 맞이할 때가 있습니다. 때로는 그것이 위기인 줄도 모르고 많은 부분에 정당성과 타당성을 부여하다가 더 깊은 위기를 자처하는 경우입니다.
인생에 수많은 고비들이 있습니다. 힘들고 어려워서만 위기가 아니라 진짜 어려움은 잘되고 부족함이 없을 때입니다. 나도 모르게 찾아오는 교만은 내 속에서 시간이 갈수록 환경이 좋아지고, 경험이 많을수록 고개를 들고 마음에 자리를 잡습니다.
"교만은 패망의 선봉이요 거만한 마음은 넘어짐의 앞잡이니라"(잠 16:18)
18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18)
수많은 사람들이 넘어졌습니다. 선 줄로 생각하거든 넘어질까 조심하라는 바울 사도의 경고는 아무도 교만에 예외가 없음을 말합니다(고전 10:12,13). 신앙생활 요즘 너무 쉽지 요,가고 싶으면 가고 쉬고 싶으면 쉬고. 남들도 다 그러는데 이렇게 주일 나오는 것만 해도 대단한 것처럼 여겨지는 세대가 되었습니다.
아무도 방해하지 않습니다. 많은 교회가 있고, 인터넷에 신학적 정보들이 넘쳐납니다. 그러나
우리의 신앙이 진실하게 성숙하고 있는지? 나의 신앙은 처음보다 더 성숙하지 않고 있다면
분명한 위기입니다.
1. 쵀대의 위기는 하나님과 그 말씀을 버리는 것이요.
The biggest challenge is going to be the temptation to abandon God and His word.
솔로몬은 왕위를 받았을 때 전심으로 하나님을 경외하였습니다. 부귀도 명예도 원하지
않았습니다. 백성을 다스리는 지혜를 구했습니다. 하나님은 솔로몬이 구한것을 보시고 전에도 없고 앞으로도 없을 큰 은혜를 다 베풀어 주셨습니다.
솔로몬이 나이 많아 늙었을 때 그의 왕비들이 솔로몬의 마음을 돌이켜 다른 신들을 좇게 하였으므로 왕의 마음이 부친 다윗의 마음과 같지 아니하여 하나님앞에 온전치 못하였으며 여호와하나님 앞에 악을 행하여 하나님 여호와를 떠나 여호와의 명령을 지키지 않았으므로 여호와께서 진노하사 나라를 당대에는 빼앗지 않았으나 자손대에 북이스라엘과 남 유다로 나눠지게 하셨습니다.(왕상11:1-13)
이스라엘의 왕도를 지키지 않았다. 왕된 자는 말을 많이 두지 말것이요, 아내를 많이 두어서 그 마음이 미혹되게 말것이며, 은금을 자기를 위하여 쌓지 말것이라 (신명기 17:16-17) 그가 와위에 오르거든 레위 사람 제사장 앞에 보관한 이 율법서를 기록하여 19평생에 지기 옆에 두고 읽어서 그 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 배우며 이율법의 모든 말과 규례를 지켜 행할 것이라 20그리하면 그의 마음이 그 형제위에 교만하지 아니하고 이 명령에 서 떠나 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 아니 하리니 이스라엘 중에서 그와 그 자손의 왕위에 있는 날이 장구하리라 ( 신 17:18-20)
14When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you and have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say, “Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us,” 15 be sure to appoint over you a king the Lord your God chooses. He must be from among your fellow Israelites. Do not place a foreigner over you, one who is not an Israelite. 16The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the Lord has told you, “You are not to go back that way again.” 17He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.
18When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, taken from that of the Levitical priests. 19It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the Lord his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees 20and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:14-20)
2. 자신의 삶에 나타나는 교만입니다.
Another challenge will be your own pride.
나의 삶이 평탄해지고 순조롭고, 잘 될때 찾아오는교만으로 인하여 지금까지 받아온 은혜를 잊어 버리고 사는데서 오는 위기 입니다.
르호보암왕에게는 평탄할 때 여호와의 말씀을 버린 것이 위기의 원인 되었습니다.(역대하 12:1) 사람들은 가난이나 질병, 불행이나 전쟁이 온것이 최대의 위기인양 생각하지만 그렇지 않습니다. 최대의 위기는 인간이 하나님과 그의 말씀을 버리는 것입니다. "교만은 패망의 선봉이요 거만한 마음은 넘어짐의 앞잡이니라"(잠 16:18) 잠언서 기자는 말하고 있습니다.
르흐보암은 부국강병으로 “이제 이만하면 됬다 하던 찰라에 하나님의 버림을 받았습니다. 대하12:5) 그의 나라는 끊일 사이 없는 전쟁과 약탈로 게속 괴롭힘을 받았습니다.(대하12:2-10)
B. 왜 신앙생활의 위기를 극복해야 할까?
Why must we overcome the challenges we will face in our faith?
1. 하나님의 자녀로서 훈련 하기 위해서 (히12:6-13)
Because it is the process of training yourself as a child of God.
하나님께서는 자녀에게훈련하십니다. 히브리서 기자는 12:6-8에서
“주께서 그 사랑하시는 자를 훈련하시고 그의 받으시는 아들 마다 채찍질하심이니라 하였으니 너희가 참음은 훈련을 받기 위함이라 하나님이 아들과 같이 너희를 대우하시나니 어찌 아비가 훈련하지 않는 아들이 있으리요 훈련은 다 받는것이어늘 너희에게 없으면 사생자요 참 아들이 아니니라"(히12:6-8)
6because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” 7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Hebrews 12:6-8)
훈련은 하나님께서 그 사랑하시는 자녀를 바르게 양육하기 위해 주시는 것입니다.
훈련방법: 먼저 훈련할 때” (Training method)
1) 무엇이 옳은지 나쁜지 말로 이야기 해 준다.
하나님이 이스라엘 백성에게 훈련방법으로 10계명을 주셨습니다.
말로만하시는것이 아니라
2) 막대기와 채찍으로 훈련하십니다.
사무엘하 7:14절에 사람 막대기와 인생 채찍으로 훈련하신다고 하셨습니다.
나는 그 아비가 되고 그는 내 아들이 되리니 저가 만일 죄를 범하면 내가 사람 막대기와 인생 채찍으로 징계하려니와
14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. (2 Samuel 7:14)
훈련목적 :
1) 하나님의 뜻대로 한다(히12:10,
11오직 하나님은 우리의 유익을 위하여" 훈련하십니다. 오직 하나님은 우리의 유익을 위해
그의 거룩하심에 참예케 하시느니라 무릇 훈련이 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로
말미암아 연달한 자에게는 의의 평강한 열매를 맺나니" 우리의 유익은 그의 룩하심에 참여하여, 의의 평강의 열매를 맺는다.
10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:10,11)
2. 사탄의 시험을 이기내기 위해서(엡 6:10-18) (욥1:21)
So that you will be ready to fight Satan’s temptations.
우리의 싸움은 혈과 육의 싸움이 아니라 공중의 권세잡은 자와 사탄의 궤계를 능히 물리치기 위해 전신 갑주를 입으라 하십니다. 하나님의 전신갑주를 취하라 이는 악한날에 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라 했습니다.
전신갑주로 옷을 입입는 다는 것은
서서 진리로 성도의 허리띠를 띠고, 의의 흉배를 붙이고, 평화의 복음의 예배한 것을 신을 신고, 모든 것위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고, 이로서 능히 악한 자의 모든 화전을 소멸하고, 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 하나님의 말씀을 가지라, 모든 기도와 간구로 하도 무시로 성령안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨이 구하기를 항상 힘쓰라( 엡6:10-18)
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
C. 어떻게 신앙생활의 위기를 극복할 수 있을까?
How can we overcome the challenges that we will face in our faith?
1. 하나님을 경외하고(신명기 6:2) 사랑하라(마22:37-40; 눅10:27)
Remind yourself to always look upon your God with reverence and fear.
but also, to always love your God.
하나님을 경외하면 지혜를 주십니다.모세가 아멜렉과 싸움에서 승리하신 싸움,
1이는 곧 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 가르치라 명하신바 명령과 규례와 법도라 너희가 건너가서 얻을 땅에서 행할 것이니 2곧 너와 네 아들과 네 손자로 평생에 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하며 내가 너희에게 명한 그 모든 규례와 명령을 지키게 하기 위한 것이며 또 네 날을 장구케 하기 위한 것이라 3이스라엘아 듣고 삼가 그것을 행하라 그리하면 네가 복을 얻고 네 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 네게 허락하심 같이 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 너의 수효가 심히 번성하리라
4이스라엘아 들으라 우리 하나님 여호와는 오직 하나인 여호와시니5너는 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하고 힘을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하라 (신6:1-5)
1 These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:1-5)
37예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 힘을 다하고(눅10:27) 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 38이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 39둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 40이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라(마22:37-40; 막 12:33; 눅10:27)
The Greatest Commandment
37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40; Mark 12:33;
Luke 10:27)
2. 하나님의 말씀을 듣고, 믿고, 행하라.
Hear, Believe and Act according to God’s word.
히4:12하나님의 말씀은 살았고 운동력이 있어 좌우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개기까지 하며 또 마음의 생각과 뜻을 감찰하나니 13지으신 것이 하나라도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 오직 만물이 우리를 상관하시는 자의 눈앞에 벌거벗은 것 같이 드러나느니라
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before his eyes to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:12,13)
딤후 3:15-17 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라 16모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 17이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전케 하며 모든 선한 일을 행하기에 온전케 하려 함이니라
the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2Timothy 3:15-17)
1) 들으라 Hear(롬10:17 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은그리스도의 말씀을 들으라 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. (Romans 10:17)
2) 믿으라 Believe ( 하나님을 믿으니 또 나를 믿으라 (요한복음 14:1-18) “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me (john 14:1)
주님은 우리들에게 근심하지 말고 하나님을 믿으라고 말합니다. 그리고 길과 진리와 생명이신 예수 그리스도를 믿어 하나님의 자녀가 되라고 합니다.
3) 행하라 Act (고전 16:14 너희 모든 일을 사랑으로 행하라. Do everything in love , 성령안에서 행하라(엡6:18 모든 기도와 간구를 하되 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:18)
3. 기도하고 회개하라.
Pray constantly and repent your sins.
위기를 해결하는 방법은 회개하는 것입니다.
르호보암은 하나님이 자신을 버린 줄 알고 온나라롸 방백들로 함께 스스로 겨밉하여 회개했습니다.
회개란? 자신이 죄인임을 알고 하나님 앞에 낮아지는 것입니다.
하나님은 회개하는 르호보암왕과 그 의 나라를 애굽옹의 손에서 구원하여 냈습니다.
요나의 회개는 앗수르의 나라 니누웨가 구원받는 은헤를 받았습니다.
“하나님의 말씀이 요나에게 임하니라 2 너는 일어나 저 큰성읍 니느웨로 가서 그것을 처서 외치라 그 악독이 내앞에 상달하였음니라: 요나는 여호와 하나님의 낯을 피하여 다시스로 가는 배를 타고 도망가다가 폭풍우를 만나 바다에 던져져지자 하나님께서 큰 물고기를 예비하셔 삼키게 하셨으니 고기의 뱃속에서 삼일 삼야를 있었습니다. 요나가 물고기 뱃속에서 기도하며 부르짖었더니 여호왁께서 들으시고 물고기에게 명하시니 물고기가 육지에 토해냈습니다.(요나2장, 2장)
여호와께서 두번째 요나에게 임하여 명하시기를 “
“일어나 저 큰 성읍 니느웨로 가서 내가 네게 명한 바를 그들에게 선포하라” 하신지라 그래서
요나는 하나님이 명령으로 앗수르의 수도 니느웨가 멸망할 것이라고 외쳤습니다. 40일이 자나면 니느웨가 무너지리라 하였더니 니느웨 백성이 하나님을 믿고 금식을 선포하고 무론대소하고 굵은 베옷을 입은지라 왕이 이 소문을 듣고 보좌에서 일어나 조복을 벗고 굵은 베를 입고 온 백성이 부르짖어 각기 악한 길과 손으로 행한 강포에서 떠나니 하나님께서는 그들이 행한 것을 보시고 그들에게 내리려던 재앙을 내리지 아니했습니다.
우리에게 주시는 교훈
Today’s Lesson
1. 잠언서에 말씀을 기억하며, “칠전팔기의 힘을 주시는 하나님을 믿고 기도와 감사함으로 하나님께 영광을 돌립시다.(잠언 24:16)”, 신앙생활에 위기를 극복하자.
Let’s overcome the challenges we will face in our faith by remembering the scripture in Proverbs, “for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity”.
2. 위기는 누구에게 온다는 것을 알고 항상 깨어 기도합시다.
Let us always be awake and pray, knowing that a crisis comes to anyone.
위기가 온다면 우리 자신을 돌이켜 보고 회개하라는 하나님의 음성임을 알고 겸허한 마음으로 하나님 앞에 서서 기도하여야 합니다.
Everyone faces challenges and difficulties. However, for those of us with faith in our God, let’s pray constantly and remain alert so that we can always hear God’s guidance and admonitions through all challenging moments in our lives.
