Luke누가복음 16:19-31
19한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데20나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 21부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 22이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 23저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 24불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 25아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라 26이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너 올 수도 없게 하였느니라 27가로되 그러면 구하노니 아버지여 나사로를 내 아버지의 집에 보내소서 28내 형제 다섯이 있으니 저희에게 증거하게 하여 저희로 이 고통 받는 곳에 오지 않게 하소서 29아브라함이 가로되 저희에게 모세와 선지자들이 있으니 그들에게 들을찌니라 30가로되 그렇지 아니하니이다 아버지 아브라함이여 만일 죽은 자에게서 저희에게 가는 자가 있으면 회개하리이다 31가로되 모세와 선지자들에게 듣지 아니하면 비록 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는 자가 있을찌라도 권함을 받지 아니하리라 하였다 하시니라
The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31)
19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in Purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’

A. 후회없는 삶이란?
What is a life without regrets?
우리는 그리스도인 입니다. 하루를 시작하며 우리가 사는 목적을 분명히 하고 주어진 일에 충성하는 삶을 살아갈 때 잘되었던 잘못되었던 것에 구애 받지 않고 하나님 께 감사를 드리는 것이 후회없는 삶이 될 것입니다.
For Christians, it means a life where we give thanks in ALL circumstances.
우리는 일생동안 살면서 해야 할일이 있고 하지 말아야 할 일이 있습니다. 그동안에 해야 할일을 하지 않고 지내첬을 때 후회합니다. 또한 하지 말아야 할 일을 했을 때 지나고 나면 후회 합니다. 그런데 지혜로운 사람은 언제나 끝이 있는 것을 알고 살아갑니다. 그러므로 사는 목적을 바로알고 살아야 합니다.
It is a life where we are able to discern what we should do and what we should not do and actually follow through with those decisions.
히브리서 기자는 말합니다. “한번 죽는 것은 사람에게 정하신 것이요 그 후에는 심판이 있다 했습니다.(히9:27) 27Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, (Hebrews 9:27)
삶의 목적을 알고 사는 사람은, 자기가 한 일에 후회가 없이 행복하게 됩니다.
성경은, 인간이 후회하는 실패자의 탄식이 있고, 성공자의 승리의 개선가가 있습니다.
한 부자는 하나님 없이 살다가 지옥에서 영원한 후회를 하고 있습니다. 그는 불꽃 가운데서 고민하면서 (눅16:24) 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
(Luke 16:24)
아브라함에게 긍휼을 호소하나 거절당합니다.
“너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라(눅16:25)
25“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony. (Luke 16:25)
인생은 심은대로 거두는 것이요, 심판을 회피할 수 없다는 최후 선언을 받게 됩니다.
B. 왜 후회없는 삶을 삽니까?
Why do believers live a life without regrets?
1. 믿음으로 사는 목적을 분명히 알고 생활하기 때문에
Because with our faith, we live a life knowing our path and goals and the ultimate finish line.
오늘 우리가 읽은 본문 가운데서 부자는 하나님이 없었습니다. 이생을 전부로 알고 먹고 마시고 부끄러움을 모르고 땅의 일만 생각하는멸망의 사람이었습니다. (빌 3:19-20)
“19저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 20오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니
19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:19-20)
그러나 나사로는 비록 부자집 문전에서 누워있으면서 부자집 상에서 떨어지는 것을 주워 먹으며 외롭게 살고 있었지만 죽은 후에는 아브라함의 품에 있게 되었습니다.
믿음으로 사는 사람은 후회가 없습니다. 이 세상에서 성공과 실패, 어떤 경우에도 거기에 사는 목적을 두지 않기 때문입니다.
욥은 재물도자녀도, 건강도, 가정도 잃었지만 후회하지 않았습니다. 하나님의지하는 사람들은 모든 것이 하나님의 은혜요, 합력하여 선을 이루고 있음을 믿기 때문에 후회가 없습니다.
2. 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑할 수 있는 마음으로 살 수 있기 때문에
Because we can live a life filled with love with our God and love with our neighbors.
우리는 하나님의 사랑을 받았기에 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅합니다 (요일 4:11)
“11사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다.
11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1John 4:11)
이생을 영원히 후회없이 산 사람은 하나님의 계명을 충실히 지켜 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 내몸처럼 사랑하는 사람입니다.
지옥에 간 부자는 참으로 불쌍한 사람입니다. 자기에게 있었던 넘처나는 부와 풍성한 먹을 것이 있었지만 자기집 문앞에 누워 있는 거지에게 한번도 자비를 베풀지 못하고 상에서 떨어지는 음식을 주워먹고 살았던 거지를 보면서 사랑을 베풀지 못하고 살았으니 말입니다. 말세가 되면 부자처럼 사람의 마음이 자기만 을 사랑하며, 돈을 사랑하며 무정하며, 원통함을 풀지 않다고 했습니다. (디모데후서 3:1-5)
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of
godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2Timothy 3:1-5)
3. 하나님 나라에 소망을 두고 살기 때문에
Because we know there is a place waiting for us in our Father’s house.
부자와 나사로는 대조적인 인생관을 가지고 있었습니다. 나사로는 어느 부자집 문간에서 살았으나 겨우 부자의상에서 떨어지는 부스러기로 배불리려 하면서 살았습니다. 나사로는 상에서 떨어지는 것을 먹으면서도 부자의 상을 부러워 하지도 않았고 탐내지도 않았습니다.
그후, 나사로는 죽어서 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 23부자가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 24불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 25아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라 26이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너 올 수도 없게 하였느니라(눅 16:23-26)

C. 어떻게 하면 후회없는 삶을 살수 있습니까?
How can you live a life without regret?
1. 쓸데 없는 걱정을 하지 말자
Discard unnecessary worries.
(40%실재로 일어나지 않는 일. 30% 과거에 있었던일, 12% 불행한 일이 나의일이 되지 않을까.
10% 신경과민으로 내가 병에 대한 염려, 4%는 아무것도 아닌 일, 4%는천재지변의 일 이는 4:6 하나님께 기도와 간구로 감사함으로 아뢰라(빌4:6)
2. 어떤 한가지에 최대한으로 일에 몰입해 보자 Do your utmost for each single task
3. 과감하게 도전하며 살자 Be ambitious in your endeavors
4. 항상 감정에 솔직하고 자주 표현하자 Be true to yourself and express it openly
5. 주위 사람들 눈치 보지 말고 주님안에서 내 뜻대로 하자 Don’t be influenced by the world but only focus on your relationship with Christ
6. 사랑하는 사람에게 사랑한다고 말하자 Tell your loved ones that you love them
7. 지인들과 자주 연락하자 Have fellowship often with your brothers and sisters in Christ
8. 늘 자신감 있게 살자 Be confident in who you are
9. 시간 날 때마다 자주 여행하여보라 Make time to explore and travel to other places
10. 행복은 결국 내 선택이다. Happiness is your choice.
일본 오사카 고등법원 형사부 총괄판사였던 오카모드 겐 파사는 36년동안 재직했던 판사직을 퇴임했습니다. 정년이 5년이 더 남아 있는데 많은 사람들은 변호사로 돈을 더 벌려고 그러는가 보다 등 여러가지 수근 거렸습니다.
그러나 예상과는 달리 전혀 엉뚱한 길인 자기집 가까이 있는 요리학원을 찾아 수강 등록을 하였습니다. 60이 다된 나이에 학원에 다니면서 식칼을 유연하게 쓰는법 여러종류의 야채를 짜르는 법, 철저하게 배우기 시작하여 1년만에 그는 요리사 자격증을 받았습니다. 자기가 근무하던 오사카 건물 앞에 2평 정도의 조그마한 간이음식점을 개업했습니다.
손바닥만한 작은 식당에는 유명한 판사였던 그를 알아보는 손님들이 많을 수 밖에 없었습니다. 손님이 많은 만큼 손님들로부터 수많은 질문이 그에게 쏟아졌습니다.
많은 사람들이 질문합니다. 왜 그 유명한 법복을 벗어버리고 주방복을 걸친 그를 찾아오는 손님에게 허리 굽혀 인사하는 그에게 식당 개업하던 날 기자들로부터 많은 질문을 받았습니다.
그는 말하기를 나는 36년이란 세월동안 사람들에게 유죄를 선고할 때마다 가슴이 너무 너무도 아팠습니다. 나는 그일을 36년간 해왔습니다. 재판관은 사람들에게 기쁨을 줄 수가 없는 가시방석같은 자리어었습니다.
그래서 남은 인생을 어떤 방법으로라도 남을 위해 즐겁게 살아 갈 수 있는 직업이 없을까 하면서
나는 나의 음성으로 세상사람을 즐겁게 하고싶지만 재질이 없고, 돈없는 병자들을 치료하고 싶지만 의술을 익히기에 너무늦은나이고, 그래서 생각하고 궁리하여 찾아낸 것이 모든 사람에게 기쁨과 즐거움을 줄 수 있는 길은 맛잇는 음식을 제공하는 일만이 나이에 빠르게 성취할 수 있는 방법이었기에 식당의 주방장이 되더라도 남에게 기쁨을 줄 수만 있다면 정말 나는 행복한 인생을 살것만 같았습니다. 라고 초지일관되게 즐겁고 기쁜 얼굴로 주장하는 그였습니다.
그는 그동안 남에게 죄를 확정하고 그에게 벌을 주는 일이 너무 싫어서, 남아있는 인샌만은 사람들을 기쁘게 하며 살고 싶었다는 것이었습니다. 그리고 지금 무척 행복하다는 말을 하였습니다.
음식점 간판을 친구라고 정하고 식당벽에는 다음과 같은 나의 기도를 붙여 놓고 일을 했답니다.
나의 기도
오늘 하루 친구 가게를 찾아오시는 손님들을 미소로 맞이하게 하소서,
나의 언어에는 향기넘치게 하시고 나의 행동에는 겸손만이 있게 하시며 나의 가치관으로 남을 판단하지 않게 하시고 나의 마음 깊은 곳에 사람을 향한 이해와 따뜻한 동정의 마음을 주셔서
그 누구도 미워하거나 노여워 하지 않게 하소서
받으려 하기보다는 항상 주고 싶은 마음으로 살게 하시고, 받은 것은 기억하고 준 것은 곧 잊어버릴 수 있도록 살아가게 하소서
오늘 하루는친구집을 찾는 목마른 이들에게 샘물 한잔의 위로를 줄 수 있게 하시고
마음에 상처가 있거나 또는 도움이 필요한 분들을 외면하지 않게 하소서
친구집에 찾아오는 모든 사람들을 당신이 바라보는 귀한 눈길로 바라볼 수 있게 하시고
그들이 부족한 저를 통해서 위대하신 당신의 은혜와 사랑을 느끼게 하소서
영혼 깊은 곳에서 울려 나오는 찬송 소리가 들꽃의 향기처럼 세상으로 가득퍼져가게 하시고
오늘 하루 저의 마음으로, 저의 행동으로, 저의 언어로, 그려진 모든 그림들이 잠드는 시간에 아름다운 그림으로 드려질 수 있도록 도움주소서
지나고 보면 모두가 그리운 것뿐입니다.같이 가는길에 그대가 있어 행복하고 고맙고 감사합니다.
.Kenpasa Okamode, the chief judge of the criminal department of the Osaka High Court in Japan, retired after 36 years of service. Many people were wondering if he was trying to make more money as a lawyer, since he still had 5 years left until retirement age.
However, contrary to expectations, he registered for classes at wacky job Cooking Academy. At the age of 60, he started attending the academy and learned how to use a kitchen knife flexibly and how to cut various types of vegetables thoroughly and received a chef's license in just one year. He opened a small snack shop about 2 pyeong (about 6.5 square meters) in front of the Osaka building where he worked.
Many people ask him why he took off his famous robe and put on a chef's uniform, and he received many questions from reporters on the day he opened his restaurant.
He said, "I felt so, so bad every time I sentenced someone guilty during those 36 years." So, I was thinking about whether there was a job that would allow me to live the rest of my life happily for others in some way.
I wanted to make people happy with my voice, but I had no talent for it. I wanted to treat the poor and sick, but it was too late for me to learn medicine. I decided that providing food was the fastest way, so I decided to do it. Even if I became a chef, I thought that if I could make others happy, I would really live a happy life.
I decided to name the restaurant Friends and put up the following prayer on the restaurant wall and went to work.
My Prayer
Today, let me greet customers who come to my friend’s store with a smile.
Let my words be filled with fragrance and my actions be only humble. Don’t let me judge others with my crown of thorns. Give me a heart of understanding and warm sympathy for people deep in my heart so that I don’t hate or get angry at anyone.
Let me live with a heart that always wants to give instead of receiving and live so that I can remember what I receive and quickly forget what I give.
Today, let me give a cup of comforting spring water to those who are thirsty for Friends, and let me not turn away from those who are hurt or in need of help. Let me look at all the people who come to my friend’s house with the precious eyes that you look at and let them feel your great grace and love through me who is lacking.
Let the sound of hymns that resonate from deep within my soul fill the world like the fragrance of wildflowers, and let all the pictures drawn with my heart, my actions, and my language fall asleep today.

2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? (John 14:2)
2. 하나님의 나라는 먹는 것 과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령안에서 의와 평강과 희락 입니다.(롬14:17)
17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

3. 성도는 택하신 족속이요 왕같은 제사장이요, 거룩한 나라요, 하나님의 소유된 백성입니다.(벧전 2:9)
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1Peter 2:9)
