마태복음 28:11-15

11여자들이 갈제 파숫군 중 몇이 성에 들어가 모든 된 일을 대제사장들에게 고하니

12그들이 장로들과 함께 모여 의논하고 군병들에게 돈을 많이 주며 13가로되 너희는 말하기를 그의 제자들이 밤에 와서 우리가 잘 때에 그를 도적질하여 갔다 하라 14만일 이 말이 총독에게 들리면 우리가 권하여 너희로 근심되지 않게 하리라 하니 15군병들이 돈을 받고 가르친대로 하였으니 이 말이 오늘날까지 유대인 가운데 두루 퍼지니라

The Guards’ Report (Matthew 28:11-16)

11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

 

사복음서(마태복음, 마가복음, 누가복음, 요한복음)에 나타난 교권주의자들의 행함을 볼 수 있습니다. 그들은 한결같이 시기, 모략, 뇌물, 아부, 거짓, 의식으로 가득찬 행위였습니다. 특히 예수께서 부활했다는 소식을 들은 자들은 심히 당황하여  구병에게 돈을 주어 밤에 잘때에 예수님 시체를 도적질하여 갔다 하라고 지시하고, 총독과의 문제도 다 해결할 것이니 염려하지 말라하고 궤궤를 꾸며 부활한 사실을 음폐하려 하였습니다. 옛날이나 지금이나 교권주의자의 소행은 대동소이합니다.

 

1.    훼방파의 시기  The time of disruption

1)  예수님이 행한 이적을 마귀역사라 훼방하고(마12:24)

Blasted the miracles that Jesus performed as demonic works

4바리새인들은 듣고 가로되 이가 귀신의 왕 바알세불을 힘입지 않고는 귀신을 쫓아내지 못하느니라

24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”

2)  예수님의 제자들을 시기하며 압력가했습니다.(요9:24-26)

Jealousy and pressure on Jesus’ disciples

24이에 저희가 소경 되었던 사람을 두번째 불러 이르되 너는 영광을 하나님께 돌리라 우리는 저 사람이 죄인인줄 아노라 25대답하되 그가 죄인인지 내가 알지 못하나 한 가지 아는 것은 내가 소경으로 있다가 지금 보는 그것이니이다 26저희가 가로되 그 사람이 네게 무엇을 하였느냐 어떻게 네 눈을 뜨게 하였느냐

24A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”

25He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” 26Then they asked him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”

 

2.  모략과 허위 Deceit and falsehood

1)  거짓증인 세워서 억지로 정죄하고 (마26:59

Set up false witnesses and forcibly condemn them

59대제사장들과 온 공회가 예수를 죽이려고 그를 칠 거짓증거를 찾으매

59The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.

 

2)  시체를 도적했다고 허위를 유포하였다(마28:14)

The lie was spread that the body was stolen.

4만일 이 말이 총독에게 들리면 우리가 권하여 너희로 근심되지 않게 하리라 하니

14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.

 

3.  뇌물로 매수  Buying as a bribe

1)  가롯유다를 은삼십으로 매수하여 예수를 체포(26:15)

Arrested Jesus by bribing Judas Iscariot with thirty pieces of silver.

14그 때에 열 둘 중에 하나인 가룟 유다라 하는 자가 대제사장들에게 가서 말하되15내가 예수를 너희에게 넘겨주리니 얼마나 주려느냐 하니 그들이 은 삼십을 달아 주거늘 16저가 그 때부터 예수를 넘겨줄 기회를 찾더라

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

14Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

2)  군병들에게 돈을 주어 부활사건 음폐하고 (마28:12)

Giving money to the soldiers to cover up the resurrection event

12그들이 장로들과 함께 모여 의논하고 군병들에게 돈을 많이 주며

12When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,

 

4.  권력에 아부하다   Flattered by power

1)  가이사외에 임금없다고 찬양하며 아부하고 (요19:15

Praise and flatter that there is no king except Caesar

15저희가 소리지르되 없이 하소서 없이 하소서 저를 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 빌라도가 가로되 내가 너희 왕을 십자가에 못 박으랴 대제사장들이 대답하되 가이사 외에는 우리에게 왕이 없나이다 하니

“Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked. “We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered. 16 Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.

 

2)  총독에게아부하며 궤계를 꾸밈(마28:14

Flattering the governor and plotting tricks

14만일 이 말이 총독에게 들리면 우리가 권하여 너희로 근심되지 않게 하리라

14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.

5.  불의를 정당화함  Justifying Injustice

1)  계명을 범하고도 고르반 되었다고함 (막7:9-13)

It is said that even after breaking the commandments, he became Gorban.

8너희가 하나님의 계명은 버리고 사람의 유전을 지키느니라 9또 가라사대 너희가 너희 유전을 지키려고 하나님의 계명을 잘 저버리는도다 10모세는 네 부모를 공경하라 하고 또 아비나 어미를 훼방하는 자는 반드시 죽으리라 하였거늘 11너희는 가로되 사람이 아비에게나 어미에게나 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할 것이 고르반 곧 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면 그만이라 하고 12제 아비나 어미에게 다시 아무 것이라도 하여 드리기를 허하지 아니하여 13너희의 전한 유전으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하며 또 이같은 일을 많이 행하느니라 하시고

9And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! 10For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 11But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)— 12then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. 13Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” (Mar:9-13)

2)  믿는자를 죽이고도 하나님 섬기는 예라고 함 (요16:2

It is said that it is an example of serving God even after killing a believer.

2사람들이 너희를 출회할 뿐아니라 때가 이르면 무릇 너희를 죽이는 자가 생각하기를 이것이 하나님을 섬기는 예라하리라

2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

 

알지못하고 범죄한 것보다 알고 범한 죄가 얼마나 큰가(벧후2:21)

How much greater are the sins committed knowingly than the sins committed ignorantly.

21의의 도를 안 후에 받은 거룩한 명령을 저버리는 것보다 알지 못하는 것이 도리어 저희에게 나으니라

21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them

율법을 자랑하면서 범법하니 하나님을 욕되게 함이다 (롬2:23)

You transgress while boasting in the law, you dishonor God.

율법을 자랑하는 네가 율법을 범함으로 하나님을 욕되게 하느냐

23You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law
