신앙 양심을 버리지 말라

Do not forsake the conscience of faith.

 

마태복음 26:12-16

12이 여자가 내 몸에 이 향유를 부은 것은 내 장사를 위하여 함이니라 13내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 온 천하에 어디서든지 이 복음이 전파되는 곳에는 이 여자의 행한 일도 말하여 저를 기념하리라 하시니라 14그 때에 열 둘 중에 하나인 가룟 유다라 하는 자가 대제사장들에게 가서 말하되15내가 예수를 너희에게 넘겨주리니 얼마나 주려느냐 하니 그들이 은 삼십을 달아 주거늘 16저가 그 때부터 예수를 넘겨줄 기회를 찾더라

 

Jesus Anointed at Bethany(6-13)

12When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. 13Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

 

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus(14-16)

14Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. (Matthew 26:12-16)

 

가룟 유다는 사단이 그 마음에 침투하여 은 삼십 받고 예수를 팔아 천추에 부끄러운 죄를 범했습니다. 우리는 유다를 비난할지 모르나 오늘 날 많은 그리스도인들이 조그만 한 이해 관계로 예수를 버리고 신앙 양심을 파는 경우가 있습니다. 우리도 조심하여 가룟 유다의 전철을 밟지 않도록 합시다.

Judas Iscariot committed a shameful and shameful sin when Satan penetrated his heart and sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. We may accuse Judas, but many Christians today have forsaken Jesus and sold their conscience for a small interest. Let us be careful not to follow in the footsteps of Judas Iscariot.

 

1.  물질 때문에 예수를 배반하지 맙시다.

Do not betray Jesus because of material things

1)    유다처럼 물질 때문에 예수를 버리지 말라. (눅22:3-6)

Like Judas, do not forsake Jesus for material things.

 3열 둘 중에 하나인 가룟인이라 부르는 유다에게 사단이 들어가니

4이에 유다가 대제사장들과 군관들에게 가서 예수를 넘겨줄 방책을 의논하매 5저희가 기뻐하여 돈을 주기로 언약하는지라 6유다가 허락하고 예수를 무리가 없을 때에 넘겨줄 기회를 찾더라

3Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present (Luke 22:3-6)

 

 

2)    에서처럼 식물 때문에 귀한 명분을 버리지 말라. (히12:16)

Do not forsake a noble cause for plants as in Esau.

한 그릇 식물을 위하여 장자의 명분을 판 에서와 같이 망령된 자가 있을까 두려워하라

like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

 

3)    게하시처럼 의복 때문에 귀한 양심 버리지 말라. (왕하 5:20-27)

 Like Gehazi, do not forsake your precious conscience because of clothing.

20하나님의 사람 엘리사의 사환 게하시가 스스로 이르되 내 주인이 이 아람 사람 나아만에게 면하여 주고 그 가지고 온 것을 그 손에서 받지 아니하였도다 여호와의 사심을 가리켜 맹세하노니 내가 저를 쫓아가서 무엇이든지 그에게서 취하리라 하고

21나아만의 뒤를 쫓아가니 나아만이 자기 뒤에 달려옴을 보고 수레에 내려서 맞아 가로되 평안이냐 22저가 가로되 평안이니이다 우리 주인께서 나를 보내시며 말씀하시기를 지금 선지자의 생도 중에 두 소년이 에브라임 산지에서부터 내게 왔으니 청컨대 당신은 저희에게 은 한 달란트와 옷 두 벌을 주라 하시더이다 23나아만이 가로되 바라건대 두 달란트를 받으라 하고 저를 억제하여 은 두 달란트를 두 전대에 넣어 매고 옷 두벌을 아울러 두 사환에게 지우매 저희가 게하시 앞에서 지고 가니라 24언덕에 이르러는 게하시가 그 물건을 두 사환의 손에서 취하여 집에 감추고 저희를 보내어 가게 한후 25들어가서 그 주인 앞에 서니 엘리사가 이르되 게하시야 네가 어디서 오느냐 대답하되 종이 아무데도 가지 아니하였나이다 26엘리사가 이르되 그 사람이 수레에서 내려 너를 맞을 때에 내 심령이 감각되지 아니하였느냐 지금이 어찌 은을 받으며 옷을 받으며 감람원이나 포도원이나 양이나 소나 남종이나 여종을 받을 때냐 27그러므로 나아만의 문둥병이 네게 들어 네 자손에게 미쳐 영원토록 이르리라 게하시가 그 앞에서 물러나오매 문둥병이 발하여 눈 같이 되었더라

“My master sent me to say, ‘Two young men from the company of the prophets have just come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two sets of clothing.’ ”

24When Gehazi came to the hill, he took the things from the servants and put them away in The House. He sent the men away and they left.

Is this the time to take money or to accept clothes—or olive groves and vineyards, or flocks and herds, or male and female slaves? 27Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever  (2King 5:20-27)

 

2.  이성 때문에 예수를 배반하지 맙시다

Let's not betray Jesus because of male or female issues

1)    삼손처럼, 애인 때문에 신앙 신비를 버리지 말라. (삿16:16-17)

Like Samson, do not throw away the mysteries of faith because of your lover.

16날마다 그 말로 그를 재촉하여 조르매 삼손의 마음이 번뇌하여 죽을 지경이라 17삼손이 진정을 토하여 그에게 이르되 내 머리에는 삭도를 대지 아니하였나니 이는 내가 모태에서 하나님의 나실인이 되었음이라 만일 내 머리가 밀리우면 내 힘이 내게서 떠나고 나는 약하여져서 다른 사람과 같으리라

16With such nagging she prodded him day after day until he was sick to death of it.

 

17So he told her everything. “No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said, “because I have been a Nazirite dedicated to God from my mother’s womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.”(Judges 16:16,17)

 

2)    다윗처럼 육체욕심 때문에 양심 정조를 버리지 말라 (삼하11:2-5)

Like David, do not forsake the chastity of conscience because of lust for the flesh.

2저녁때에 다윗이 그 침상에서 일어나 왕궁 지붕 위에서 거닐다가 그곳에서 보니 한 여인이 목욕을 하는데 심히 아름다와 보이는지라

3다윗이 보내어 그 여인을 알아보게 하였더니 고하되 그는 엘리암의 딸이요 헷 사람 우리아의 아내 밧세바가 아니니이까 4다윗이 사자를 보내어 저를 자기에게로 데려 오게 하고 저가 그 부정함을 깨끗케 하였으므로 더불어 동침하매 저가 자기 집으로 돌아가니라 5여인이 잉태하매 보내어 다윗에게 고하여 가로되 내가 잉태하였나이다 하니라

2One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, 3and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” 4Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.) Then she went back home. 5The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.” 2Samuel 11:2-5)

 

3)    솔로몬처럼 신앙을 버리지 말라 (왕상 11:1-8)

Don't give up your faith like Solomon

1솔로몬왕이 바로의 딸 외에 이방의 많은 여인을 사랑하였으니 곧 모압과 암몬과 에돔과 시돈과 헷 여인이라2여호와께서 일찌기 이 여러 국민에게 대하여 이스라엘 자손에게 말씀하시기를 너희는 저희와 서로 통하지 말며 저희도 너희와 서로 통하게말라 저희가 너희마음을 돌이켜 자신들의 신들을 조체 하리라 왕은 후비가 칠백인이요 빈장이 삼백인이라 왕비들이 왕의 마음을 돌이켰더라

1King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. 2They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. 3He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray. 4As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been. (1 kings 11:1-4)

 

3.  명예 때문에 신앙을 버리지 맙시다.

Do not give up my faith because of honor.

1)    아나니아 처럼 영광때문에 신앙 양심을 버리지 말라(행5:1-11)

Like Ananias, do not forsake your religious conscience for glory.

1아나니아라 하는 사람이 그 아내 삽비라로 더불어 소유를 팔아 2그 값에서 얼마를 감추매 그 아내도 알더라 얼마를 가져다가 사도들의 발 앞에 두니 3베드로가 가로되 아나니아야 어찌하여 사단이 네 마음에 가득하여 네가 성령을 속이고 땅값 얼마를 감추었느냐

Ananias and Sapphira

 

1Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.3Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Acts 5:1-3)

 

2)    발람처럼 명예 때문에 신앙 양심을 버리지 말라 (민31:16 22:4-6, 12.18, 22:21-38)

Like Balaam, conscience for honor. do not forsake your faith

민22:4-6,  이스라엘을 저주하라는 발락의 요청에 거절

22:12두번째저주하라 하나님이 복으 주는 말씀

22:18

22:21-38 발람의 꾀로 인하여 이스라엘이 죄악에 빠지게 하였다.

이스라엘 백성이 모압 평지 맞은편에 진을 쳤는데, 모압왕 발락이 이스라엘 백성을 심히 두려워하여 주술사 발람을 데려다가 이스라엘을 저주하도록 청했는데, 하나님께서 이를 막으시고 오히려 이스라엘을 축복하게 합니다. 그런데 발람이 꾀를 내어 모압 왕 발락에게 이스라엘 백성을 무너뜨릴 방책을 줍니다. 베드로후서 2:14,15에서 “음심이 가득한 눈을 가지고 범죄하기를 그치지 아니하고 굳세지 못한 영혼들을 유혹하며 탐욕에 연단된 마음을 가진 자들이니 저주의 자식이라 그들이 바른 길을 떠나 미혹되어 브올의 아들 발람의 길을 따르는도다 그는 불의의 삯을 사랑하다가”라고 기록된 말씀을 보아서, 모압 왕 발락에게서 주술사 발람은 큰 돈을 받고, 하나님이 축복하는 이스라엘 백성을 무너뜨릴 계략을 세웠다는 것을 알 수 있습니다. 하나님의 백성을 무너뜨리는 비책은 음행에 빠지게 하고 우상숭배하게 하는 것이었습니다. “발람이 발락을 가르쳐 이스라엘 자손 앞에 걸림돌을 놓아 우상의 제물을 먹게 하였고 또 행음하게 하였느니라”(계2:14하)

 

3)    데마처럼 세상 세상 때문에  귀한 신앙을 버리지 말라 (딤후4:10

Like Demas, He loved this world, do not forsake your precious faith because of the world.

                 10데마는 이 세상을 사랑하여 나를 버리고 데살로니가로 갔고

10for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. (2 Timothy 4:10)

 

4.  고통이 두려워 예수를 배반하지 말라

Do not betray Jesus for fear of suffering

1)    아론처럼 사람이 두려워, 신앙 양심 버리지 말라(출32:21-25)

Like Aaron He is afraid of people., do not abandon your faith and conscience because

21모세가 아론에게 이르되 이 백성이 네게 어떻게 하였기에 네가 그들로 중죄에 빠지게 하였느뇨

22아론이 가로되 내 주여 노하지 마소서 이 백성의 악함을 당신이 아나이다 23그들이 내게 말하기를 우리를 위하여 우리를 인도할 신을 만들라 이 모세 곧 우리를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 사람은 어찌 되었는지 알수 없노라 하기에 24내가 그들에게 이르기를 금이 있는 자는 빼어내라 한즉 그들이 그것을 내게로 가져왔기로 내가 불에 던졌더니 이 송아지가 나왔나이다 25모세가 본즉 백성이 방자하니 이는 아론이 그들로 방자하게 하여 원수에게 조롱거리가 되게 하였음이라

21He said to Aaron, “What did these people do to you, that you led them into such great sin?”

22“Do not be angry, my lord,” Aaron answered. “You know how prone these people are to evil. 23They said to me, ‘Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.’ 24So I told them, ‘Whoever has any gold jewelry, take it off.’ Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!”

25Moses saw that the people were running Wild and that Aaron had let them get out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies. 26So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the Lord, come to me.” And all the Levites rallied to him. (Exodus 32:21-250

 

2)    베드로처럼 두려워서 예수를 저주하지 말라. (마26:69-75)

Peter cursed Jesus. Do not curse Jesus out of fear like Peter

69베드로가 바깥 뜰에 앉았더니 한 비자가 나아와 가로되 너도 갈릴리 사람 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘 70베드로가 모든 사람 앞에서 부인하여 가로되 나는 네 말하는 것이 무엇인지 알지 못하겠노라 하며 71앞문까지 나아가니 다른 비자가 저를 보고 거기 있는 사람들에게 말하되 이 사람은 나사렛 예수와 함께 있었도다 하매 72베드로가 맹세하고 또 부인하여 가로되 내가 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하더라 73조금 후에 곁에 섰던 사람들이 나아와 베드로에게 이르되 너도 진실로 그 당이라 네 말소리가 너를 표명한다 하거늘 74저가 저주하며 맹세하여 가로되 내가 그사람을 알지 못하노라

6Peter Disowns Jesus

69Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. “You also were with Jesus of Galilee,” she said.70But he denied it before them all. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.71Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth.”72He denied it again, with an oath: “I don’t know the man!”73After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.”74Then he began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know the man!”Immediately a rooster crowed. 75Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly. 드로가 바깥 뜰에 앉았더니 한 비자가 나아와 가로되 너도 갈릴리 사람 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘

3)    제자들처럼 고통이 두려워 주를 버리고 도망하지 말라 (마 26:56

Like the disciples, do not forsake the Lord and flee for fear of suffering.

 

56이렇게 된 것은 다 선지자들의 글을 이루려 함이니라 하시더라 이에 제자들이 다 예수를 버리고 도망하니라

56 this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. (Matthew 26:56)

 

이상과 같이 많은 사람들이 여러가지 이유로 하나님과 예수님과 신앙심을 버린 사실을

보면서 저들의 실패의 전철을 따라가지 맙시다. 예수님께 대한 믿음을 굳건히 붙잡고 생활하는 믿음의 군병이 됩시다.

As mentioned above, many people have given up their faith in God, Jesus, and faith for various reasons.

Let's not follow the path of their failure while watching. Let's become soldiers of faith who hold fast our faith in Jesus and live our lives.
