달란트를 묻어두지 말고 활용하자

Don't bury your talent, let's use it

 

마태복음 25:14-30

달란트의 비유 (The Parable of the Talents)(Matthew 25:14-30)

To one he gave five talent of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability, Then he went on his journey.

 

5단란트를 받은 사람이 (25:16) The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.

2달란트를 받은 사람 (25:17)  So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.

1달란트를 받은 사람 (25:18) 18But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

 

탈란트 비유에서는 우리 각 사람에게 주신 탈란트를 땅에 묻어두지 말고 활용하여 생산하고 창조하는 적극적인 청지기가 되라고 교훈하셨습니다.  주님께서 우리에게 어려 모양의 달란트를 주셨습니다.

In the parable of the talents, he taught us to be active stewards of the talents we have been given to each of us, not burying them in the ground, but using them to produce and create. The Lord has given us talents in the shape of youth.

 

1. 건강(Health)

1)    귀한 건강을 어떻게 사용할지 기도하며 살아가자(잠31:1-9)

 Let's live by praying for how to use our precious health

3 네힘을 여자에게 쓰지 말고, 포도주를 마지는 것이 왕에게 마땅하지 않고, 독주를 마시는 것이 주권자에 마땅하지 않도다 -술을 마시면 법을 잊어버리고 백성에게 공의를 굽게 한다.

독주는 죽게된 자에게, 포도주는 마음에 근심하는 자에게 주라 왕은 벙어리와 고독한 자의 송사를 위하여 입을 열라 입을 열어 공의로 재판하여 간곤한 자와 궁핍한 자를 신원하찌니라

Do not spend your strength on women (Pro 31:3)  Do not spend your strength on women, your vigor on those who ruin kings. it is not for kings to drink wine, not for rulers to crave beer,

Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguiishy

2)    한평생동안 주님만위해 모든 힘을 다하자 (신34:7-8)

Let's do our best for the Lord for the rest of our lives

 7모세의 죽을 때 나이 일백 이십세나 그 눈이 흐리지 아니하였고 기력이 쇠하지 아니하였더라

8이스라엘 자손이 모압 평지에서 애곡하는 기한이 맟도록 모세를 위하여 삼십일을 애곡하니라

7Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone. 8The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning was over  .(Deuteronomy 34:7,8)

 

2. 지혜(wisdom)

1)    귀한 지혜를 불의한 일을 세우는데 악용하지 말고 (삼하16:20-23)

Do not use your precious wisdom to establish iniquity.

20압살롬이 아히도벨에게 이르되 너는 어떻게 행할 모략을 우리에게 가르치라

21아히도벨이 압살롬에게 이르되 왕의 아버지가 머물러 두어 궁을 지키게한 후궁들로 더불어 동침하소서 그리하면 왕께서 왕의 부친의 미워하는바 됨을 온 이스라엘이 들으리니 왕과 함께 있는 모든 사람의 힘이 더욱 강하여지리이다 22이에 사람들이 압살롬을 위하여 지붕에 장막을 치니 압살롬이 온 이스라엘 무리의 눈 앞에서 그 부친의 후궁들로 더불어 동침하니라 23그 때에 아히도벨의 베푸는 모략은 하나님께 물어 받은 말씀과 일반이라 저의 모든 모략은 다윗에게나 압살롬에게나 이와 같더라

20Absalom said to Ahithophel, “Give us your advice. What should we do?”

21Ahithophel answered, “Sleep with your father’s concubines whom he left to take care of the palace. Then all Israel will hear that you have made yourself obnoxious to your father, and the hands of everyone with you will be more resolute.” 22So they pitched a tent for Absalom on the roof, and he slept with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel. 23Now in those days the advice Ahithophel gave was like that of one who inquires of God. That was how both David and Absalom regarded all of Ahithophel’s advice. (2Samuel 16:20-23)

2)    주의뜻을 이루기위한 선한일에 선용하자(삼하12:1-6

Let's use it for good to accomplish the Lord's will

여호와께서 나단을 다위에게 보내어한 성에 두 사람이 있는데 한사람은 부하고 하나는 가난하니 그 부한 자는 양과 소가 심히 많으나 간난한 자는 아무것도 없고 자기가 사서 기르는 작은 암양새끼  뿐이라 어떤 여행객이 부자에게 오매 부자가 자기의 양과 소를 아껴 자기에게 온 행인을 위하여 잡지 아나하고 가난한 사람의 양 새끼를 빼앗아다가 자기에게 온 사람을 위하여 잡아나이다 5 다위시 노하여 이 일을 행한 사람을 마땅히 죽을 자라 6 저가 불쌍히 여기지않고 이 일ㅇ르 행하였으니 그양 새끼를 사배나 갚아 주어야 하리라

Nathan Rebukes David 1The Lord sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said, “There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor. 2The rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle, 3but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food, drank from his cup and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him.4“Now a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the ewe lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him.”5David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this must die! 6He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity.” (2 Samuel 12:1-6)

3. 은혜(Grace)

1)    받은은혜를 저버리지 말고 감사하라(히6:1-8

Do not forsake the grace you have received, give thanks

1그러므로 우리가 그리스도 도의 초보를 버리고 죽은 행실을 회개함과 하나님께 대한 신앙과 2세례들과 안수와 죽은 자의 부활과 영원한 심판에 관한 교훈의 터를 다시 닦지 말고 완전한데 나아갈찌니라 3하나님께서 허락하시면 우리가 이것을 하리라 4한번 비췸을 얻고 하늘의 은사를 맛보고 성령에 참예한바 되고 5하나님의 선한 말씀과 내세의 능력을 맛보고 6타락한 자들은 다시 새롭게 하여 회개케 할 수 없나니 이는 자기가 하나님의 아들을 다시 십자가에 못 박아 현저히 욕을 보임이라

1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned

2)    받은 은혜를 활용하여 구령사업에 선용하자(고전9:16-25

Let's make good use of the grace we have received for salvation work

16내가 복음을 전할찌라도 자랑할 것이 없음은 내가 부득불 할 일임이라 만일 복음을 전하지 아니하면 내게 화가 있을 것임이로라 17내가 내 임의로 이것을 행하면 상을 얻으려니와 임의로 아니한다 할찌라도 나는 직분을 맡았노라 18그런즉 내 상이 무엇이냐 내가 복음을 전할 때에 값 없이 전하고 복음으로 인하여 내게 있는 권을 다 쓰지 아니하는 이것이로라 19내가 모든 사람에게 자유하였으나 스스로 모든 사람에게 종이 된 것은 더 많은 사람을 얻고자 함이라 20유대인들에게는 내가 유대인과 같이 된 것은 유대인들을 얻고자 함이요 율법 아래 있는 자들에게는 내가 율법 아래 있지 아니하나 율법 아래 있는 자 같이 된 것은 율법 아래 있는 자들을 얻고자 함이요 21율법 없는 자에게는 내가 하나님께는 율법 없는 자가 아니요 도리어 그리스도의 율법 아래 있는 자나 율법 없는 자와 같이 된 것은 율법 없는 자들을 얻고자 함이라 22약한 자들에게는 내가 약한 자와 같이 된 것은 약한 자들을 얻고자 함이요 여러 사람에게 내가 여러 모양이 된 것은 아무쪼록 몇몇 사람들을 구원코자 함이니 23내가 복음을 위하여 모든 것을 행함은 복음에 참예하고자 함이라 24운동장에서 달음질하는 자들이 다 달아날찌라도 오직 상 얻는 자는 하나인 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 너희도 얻도록 이와 같이 달음질하라 25이기기를 다투는 자마다 모든 일에 절제하나니 저희는 썩을 면류관을 얻고자 하되 우리는 썩지 아니할 것을 얻고자 하노라

15But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me, for I would rather die than allow anyone to deprive me of this boast. 16For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! 17If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me. 18What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel. 19Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. (1Corinthians 9:16-23)

4. 물질(Material things)

1)    선한 일에 사용하고 땅에만 묻어두지 말라(삼상 25:9-13

Use it for good and do not bury it in the ground.

10나발이 다윗의 사환들에게 대답하여 가로되 다윗은 누구며 이새의 아들은 누구뇨 근일에 각기 주인에게서 억지로 떠나는 종이 많도다11내가 어찌 내 떡과 물과 내 양털 깎는 자를 위하여 잡은 고기를 가져 어디로서인지 알지도 못하는 자들에게 주겠느냐 한지라 12이에 다윗의 소년들이 돌이켜 자기 길로 행하여 돌아와서 이 모든 말로 그에게 고하매13다윗이 자기 사람들에게 이르되 너희는 각기 칼을 차라 각기 칼을 차매 다윗도 자기 칼을 차고 사백명 가량은 데리고 올라가고 이백명은 소유물 곁에 있게 하니라

9 When David’s men arrived, they gave Nabal this message in David’s name. Then they waited.

10 Nabal answered David’s servants, “Who is this David? Who is this son of Jesse? Many servants are breaking away from their masters these days. 11 Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?” 12 David’s men turned around and went back. When they arrived, they reported every word. 13 David said to his men, “Each of you strap on your sword!” So they did, and David strapped his on as well. About four hundred men went up with David, while two hundred stayed with the supplies. (1Samuel 25:9-13)

2)    주님을 위한 일에 사용할 수 있도록 기도하자(행4:34-37

Pray that we may use it to work for the Lord.

34그 중에 핍절한 사람이 없으니 이는 밭과 집 있는 자는 팔아 그 판 것의 값을 가져다가 35사도들의 발 앞에 두매 저희가 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠줌이러라 36구브로에서 난 레위족인이 있으니 이름은 요셉이라 사도들이 일컬어 바나바(번역하면 권위자)라 하니 37그가 밭이 있으매 팔아 값을 가지고 사도들의 발 앞에 두니라

34that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. 36Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet. (Acts 4:34-37)

5. 시간 (Time)

1)    시간을 낭비하여 청년시절을 귀히여기자(전11:10-12:1

Let's waste time to cherish our youth

10그런즉 근심으로 네 마음에서 떠나게 하며 악으로 네 몸에서 물러가게 하라 어릴 때와 청년의 때가 다 헛되니라  1너는 청년의 때 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해가 가깝기 전에 너의 창조자를 기억하라 (전11:1-12:1

10So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless. 12:1 1Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”—

(Ecclesiastes 11:10-12:1)

2)    시간을 선용하여 우리생애 많은 역사를 이루자 (엡5:16

Let's make good use of our time and make a lot of history in our lives

그런즉 너희가 어떻게 행할 것을 자세히 주의하여 지혜 없는 자 같이 말고 오직 지혜 있는 자 같이 하여 16세월을 아끼라 때가 악하니라

15Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:16)

 

귀한 달란트를 활용하여 하나님이 기뻐하시며 자기자신이 신앙적으로 성장하여 주앞에 설때에 칭찬받는 사람이 되기 위해 기도하자

Pray that God will be pleased by using your precious talents, and that you will grow in faith and be praised when you stand before the Lord.
