마태복음 25:14-30

달란트의 비유 (The Parable of the Talents)(Matthew 25:14-30)

To one he gave five talent of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability, Then he went on his journey.

 

5단란트를 받은 사람이 (25:16) The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.

2달란트를 받은 사람 (25:17)  So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.

1달란트를 받은 사람 (25:18) 18But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

 

 예수께서 교훈하신 비유중에서 달란트 비유는 기독교적인 성격을 잘 나타내고 있습니다.

기독교는 적극적이며 활동적이며 창조적인 것을 가르쳤으며 기독교인은 예수께서 원하는 생산적 종교가 되도록 힘써야 합니다.(창1:28,29)바울과 같이, 예수님과 같이 움직이는 신앙 생활화 하는 성도가 됩시다.

 

1.  적극적인 종교Active Religion

1)    현실을 도피하지 말고, 적극적으로 참여하자 (눅 10:31-37)

Don't run away from reality, take an active part

선한사마리아인의 이야기 중에서 “한청년이 예수께 와서 묻기를 무엇을  하여야 영생을 얻으리까

율법에 무엇이라고 기록하였느냐 네가 무엇이라고 읽느냐? 청년대답하기를 마음,못숨 뜻 힘을다하여 주하나님을 사랑하고 또 내이웃을 사랑하라 하였나이다. 예수께서는 청년에게 이를 행하라 그러면 살리라” 이 청년이 예수께 잘보이려고 다시묻기를 내 이웃이 누구오니이까?

2)    현실을 방관하지 말고, 적극적 참여하자(마 4:14-17

Don't ignore reality, take an active part in it

예수께서 갈릴리 땅에서 전파하시다Jesus begins to preach ( Matthew 4:12-

3)    현실에 적극참여하여 과감히 역사하자 (마4:17,)

Let's actively participate in reality and make history boldly

 이때부터 예수께서 비로소 전파하여 가라사대 “회개하라 천국이 가까왔느니라”

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near

 

2.  기독교는 활동적인 종교Christianity is an active religion

1)    시간을 절제하여 선용하고 활동한다(엡5:16

Temper your time, make good use of it, and do activities

세월을 아끼라 때가 악하니라 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

2)    재료를 최대한 선용하고 활동한다 (눅16:9

Make the best use of materials and work

내가 너희에게 말하노니 불의한 재물로 친구를 사귀라 그리하면 없어질때에 저희가 영원한 처소를 너희에게 주리라

3)    재능를 선용하여 활동하며 역사한다 (잠31:1-29

Make good use of your talents and work

누가 현숙한 여인을 찾겠느냐? 네 힘을 여자에게 쓰지말라, 누무엘은 포도주를 마시지 마라 -술을

마시다가 법을 잊어버리고 백성에게 공의를 굳게 하느니라

현숙한 여인은 살아있는 동안에 남편에게 선을 행하고 악을 행치아니하느니라 부지런히 손으로 일하며 먼데서 약식을 갖오며 양식을 나누어주며 여종에게 일을 정하여 맡기며 간곤한 자에게 손을 펴며궁핍한 자를 위하여 손을 내밀며, 입을 열여 지혜를 베풀며 그 혀로 아내의 법을 말하며 그 집안 일을 보살피고

 

3.  창조하는 종교다 Creative Religion

1)    생각하여 창안해 낼 것이며 기도하면서 (단2:17-24

지혜를 하나님께 구하며

17이에 다니엘이 자기 집으로 돌아가서 그 동무 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴에게 그 일을 고하고 18하늘에 계신 하나님이 이 은밀한 일에 대하여 긍휼히 여기사 자기 다니엘과 동무들이 바벨론의 다른 박사와 함께 죽임을 당치 않게 하시기를 그들로 구하게 하니라 19이에 이 은밀한 것이 밤에 이상으로 다니엘에게 나타나 보이매 다니엘이 하늘에 계신 하나님을 찬송하니라20다니엘이 말하여 가로되 영원 무궁히 하나님의 이름을 찬송할 것은 지혜와 권능이 그에게 있음이로다 21그는 때와 기한을 변하시며 왕들을 폐하시고 왕들을 세우시며 지혜자에게 지혜를 주시고 지식자에게 총명을 주시는도다

17 Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.(Daniel 2:17-21)

 

2)    역사하여 발전케 할 것이며 불굴의 노력을 한다 (골1:3-8

We will work to develop

바울이 골로새교회를 위하여 구할때마다 하나님께 감사하며 복음을 깨닫고 열매를 맺어 자라는 것

그들은 성령안에서 사랑을 우리에게 고한 자였다

3우리가 너희를 위하여 기도할 때마다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께 감사하노라 4이는 그리스도 예수 안에 너희의 믿음과 모든 성도에 대한 사랑을 들음이요 5너희를 위하여 하늘에 쌓아둔 소망을 인함이니 곧 너희가 전에 복음 진리의 말씀을 들은 것이라 6이 복음이 이미 너희에게 이르매 너희가 듣고 참으로 하나님의 은혜를 깨달은 날부터 너희 중에서와 같이 또한 온 천하에서도 열매를 맺어 자라는도다 7이와 같이 우리와 함께 종된 사랑하는 에바브라에게 너희가 배웠나니 그는 너희를 위하여 그리스도의 신실한 일군이요 8성령 안에서 너희 사랑을 우리에게 고한 자니라

Thanksgiving and Prayer

3We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, 8and who also told us of your love in the Spirit. (Colossians 1:3-8)

 

3)    두배가 되게 생산하며 성령의 힘으로(마25:20)

Produces twice as much, and by the power of the Holy Spirit

20다섯 달란트 받았던 자는 다섯 달란트를 더 가지고 와서 가로되 주여 내게 다섯 달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 다섯 달란트를 남겼나이다

20The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ (Matthew 25:20)

 

주님의 심판은 가까이 닦아오니 우리에게 주어진 사명의 달란트로 부지런히 생산하여 주님에게 칭찬받는 성도가 됩시다.

As the judgment of the Lord is nurtured, let us diligently produce the talents of the mission given to us and become saints praised by the Lord.
