예수님이 받으신 고통

Jesus' suffering

마태복음 27:11-26 Matthew

1예수께서 총독 앞에 섰으매 총독이 물어 가로되 네가 유대인의 왕이냐 예수께서 대답하시되 네 말이 옳도다 하시고 12대제사장들과 장로들에게 고소를 당하되 아무 대답도 아니하시는지라 13이에 빌라도가 이르되 저희가 너를 쳐서 얼마나 많은 것으로 증거하는지 듣지 못하느냐 하되 14한마디도 대답지 아니하시니 총독이 심히 기이히 여기더라 15명절을 당하면 총독이 무리의 소원대로 죄수 하나를 놓아 주는 전례가 있더니 16그 때에 바라바라 하는 유명한 죄수가 있는데 17저희가 모였을 때에 빌라도가 물어 가로되 너희는 내가 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 바라바냐 그리스도라 하는 예수냐 하니 18이는 저가 그들의 시기로 예수를 넘겨준줄 앎이러라 19총독이 재판 자리에 앉았을 때에 그 아내가 사람을 보내어 가로되 저 옳은 사람에게 아무 상관도 하지 마옵소서 오늘 꿈에 내가 그 사람을 인하여 애를 많이 썼나이다 하더라

20대제사장들과 장로들이 무리를 권하여 바라바를 달라 하게 하고 예수를 멸하자 하게 하였더니 21총독이 대답하여 가로되 둘 중에 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 가로되 바라바로소이다 22빌라도가 가로되 그러면 그리스도라 하는 예수를 내가 어떻게 하랴 저희가 다 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 23빌라도가 가로되 어찜이뇨 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 저희가 더욱 소리질러 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 하는지라 24빌라도가 아무 효험도 없이 도리어 민란이 나려는 것을 보고 물을 가져다가 무리 앞에서 손을 씻으며 가로되 이 사람의 피에 대하여 나는 무죄하니 너희가 당하라 25백성이 다 대답하여 가로되 그 피를 우리와 우리 자손에게 돌릴찌어다 하거늘 26이에 바라바는 저희에게 놓아주고 예수는 채찍질하고 십자가에 못 박히게 넘겨주니라

11Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. 12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor. 15Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus Barabbas. 17So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him. 19While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.” 20But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.

21“Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they answered. 22“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.

They all answered, “Crucify him!” 23“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.

But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” 24When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

25All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”

26Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

 

예수님께서는 우리가 받아야 할 죄짐과 고통의 짐을 지시고 십자가를 지셨을 때 심리적인 고난과 육체적인 고통이 얼마나 컸을 까 말씀을 보면서 함께 그 고통에 참여 해 보는 것도 믿음의 생활에 도움이 될 것입니다.

예수님께서 버림 받은 고통은 어떤것일까?

 

1.    하나님으로부터 버림받은 고통

Suffering from being abandoned by God

1)     인류의 죄를 혼자지고 통곡하시는 주님 (히5:7

The Lord who takes the sins of mankind alone and weeps

7그는 육체에 계실 때에 자기를 죽음에서 능히 구원하실 이에게하여 심한 통곡과 눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸고 그의 경외하심을 인하여 들으심을 얻었느니라

7During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

(Hebrews 5:7)

2)     인류가 받을 저주를 혼자서 받으시는 주님 (갈3:13

그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 저주를 받은바 되사 율법의 저주에서 우리를 속량하셨으니 기록된바 나무에 달린 자마다 저주 아래 있는 자라 하였음이라

The Lord who alone receives the curse that mankind deserves

13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.

(Galatians 3:13)

 

3)     하나님께로부터 버림받고 하나님 하나님 어찌 버리셨나이까

You were forsaken by God, God, how did you forsake him? (마27:46)

46제 구시 즈음에 예수께서 크게 소리질러 가라사대 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이는 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라

46About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani ?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). (Mathew 27:46)

 

2.    제자들에게 버림받은 고통

The pain of being abandoned by the disciples

1)   십자가 지시기 전날 밤에 “누가크냐 다툼하던 제자 (눅22:24

The night before the crucifixion, “The disciple who was arguing over who was the greatest.

24또 저희 사이에 그중 누가 크냐 하는 다툼이 난지라

24A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest (Luke 22:24)

2)   제자들 모두 도망쳤고 (마26:56

All the disciples ran away

56그러나 이렇게 된 것은 다 선지자들의 글을 이루려 함이니라 하시더라 이에 제자들이 다 예수를 버리고 도망하니라

56But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.(Matthew 26:56)

3)   베드로마져 예수를 세번 부인하고 (눅22:61

Even Peter denied Jesus three times.

61주께서 돌이켜 베드로를 보시니 베드로가 주의 말씀 곧 오늘 닭 울기 전에 네가 세번 나를 부인하리라 하심이 생각나서

61The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” (Luke22:61)

4)   유다는 예수팔고 자살하였고 (마27:5

Judas sold Jesus and committed suicide

유다가 은을 성소에 던져 넣고 물러가서 스스로 목매어 죽은지라

5So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. (Matthew 27:5)

 

3.   이스라엘 민족에게 버림받은 고통

The suffering of being abandoned by the nation of Israel

1)   택한 민족이 시기하여 무조건 죽이려고 하였고 (마27:18

The chosen people were jealous and wanted to kill them unconditionally.

18이는 저가 그들의 시기로 예수를 넘겨준줄 앎이러라

18For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.(Matthew 27:18)

2)   십자가에 못박으라 군중들 소리쳤고 (마27:23

Crucify him, the crowd shouted

23빌라도가 가로되 어찜이뇨 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 저희가 더욱 소리질러 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 하는지라

23“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”(Matthew 27:23)

3)     가이사외에 왕이 없으니 죽여야 충신이라고 (요19:12

There are no kings other than Caesar, so you must kill them to be loyal.

12이러하므로 빌라도가 예수를 놓으려고 힘썼으나 유대인들이 소리질러 가로되 이 사람을 놓으면 가이사의 충신이 아니니이다 무릇 자기를 왕이라 하는 자는 가이사를 반역하는 것이니이다

12From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.”(John 19:12)

4)     바라바 강도는 풀어주고, 예수님은 죽이라고 함 (마27:15-22

Barabbas the robber frees, Jesus tells him to kill

15명절을 당하면 총독이 무리의 소원대로 죄수 하나를 놓아 주는 전례가 있더니 16그 때에 바라바라 하는 유명한 죄수가 있는데 17저희가 모였을 때에 빌라도가 물어 가로되 너희는 내가 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 바라바냐 그리스도라 하는 예수냐 하니 18이는 저가 그들의 시기로 예수를 넘겨준줄 앎이러라 19총독이 재판 자리에 앉았을 때에 그 아내가 사람을 보내어 가로되 저 옳은 사람에게 아무 상관도 하지 마옵소서 오늘 꿈에 내가 그 사람을 인하여 애를 많이 썼나이다 하더라

5)     그 피의 댓가를 우리와 자손에게 돌려달라고 함 (마27:25

We ask for the price of the blood to be returned to us and our descendants.

25백성이 다 대답하여 가로되 그 피를 우리와 우리 자손에게 돌릴찌어다 하거늘

25All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”

(Matthew 27:25)

6)     거짓증거와 억지를 부려 사형에 처하려하였고 (마26:59

They tried to put him to death by using false evidence and coercion.

59대제사장들과 온 공회가 예수를 죽이려고 그를 칠 거짓증거를 찾으매

59The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death. (Matthew 26:59)

7)     예수가 하나님을 모독했다고 대제사장이 사형하라함(마26:66

High Priest Says Jesus Has Blasphemed God

66생각이 어떠하뇨 대답하여 가로되 저는 사형에 해당하니라 하고

66What do you think?” “He is worthy of death,” they answered.
