바리새인의 죄악이 무엇인가?
What was the sins of the Pharisees?
마태복음 23:1-12
예수님께서는 바리새인의 외식을 제일 미워하시고 항상 공박하는중 이제 십자가를 앞에놓고 더욱 심각하게 외식을 책망하셨습니다. 이 책망은 옛날 바리세인에게만 해당되는 말씀이 아니고 오늘 현대교권주의와 지도자들에게 하신 말씀이기도 합니다.
1. 언행이 일치하지 않았습니다.
speech and actions were not consistent
1) 모세의 자리에서 울법을 가르치심 (신7:10-11) 그를 미워하는 자에게는 당장에 보응하여 멸하시나니 여호와는 자기를 미워하는 자에게 지체하지 아니하시고 당장에 그에게 보응하시느니라 11그런즉 너는 오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 명령과 규례와 법도를 지켜 행할찌니라
10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him. 11 Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees and laws I give you today.(Deuteronomy 7:10-11
2) 무거운 짐을 사람의 어깨에 지웠습니다. (마15:9 8이 백성이 입술로는 나를 존경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다 9사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라 하시고
8“ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’(Matthew 15;8,9)
3) 자기 손가락 하나 움직이지 않습니다. (마23:4 4또 무거운 짐을 묶어 사람의 어깨에 지우되 자기는 이것을 한 손가락으로도 움직이려 하지 아니하며 5저희 모든 행위를 사람에게 보이고자 하여 하나니 곧 그 차는 경문을 넓게 하며 옷술을 크게 하고 6잔치의 상석과 회당의 상좌와 7시장에서 문안 받는 것과 사람에게 랍비라 칭함을 받는 것을 좋아하느니라.
4They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.5“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others. (Matthew 23:4-7)
2. 위선적 행위가 가득하였습니다.
It was full of hypocrisy.
1) 모든 행위는 남에게 보이기위해 행했다. (마23:3 그러므로 무엇이든지 저희의 말하는 바는 행하고 지키되 저희의 하는 행위는 본받지 말라 저희는 말만 하고 행치 아니하며 55저희 모든 행위를 사람에게 보이고자 하여 하나니 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach (Matthew 23:3)
2) 그차는 경문을 넓게 하여 거룩하게 보이려했다(신6:8) 8너는 또 그것을 네 손목에 매어 기호를 삼으며 네 미간에 붙여 표를 삼고 8Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads
경문 : 1.유월절 규정(출 13:3-10) , 2. 장자의 성별(출13:11-16), 3.하나님 사랑(신 6:4-6), 4.율법에 복종(신11:13-21)

3) 그옷들을 크게 하여 고상하게 보이려 했습니다.(마23:5) 5저희 모든 행위를 사람에게 보이고자 하여 하나니 곧 그 차는 경문을 넓게 하며 옷술을 크게 하고 5“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long;
3. 존경 받기를 좋아했습니다.
They wanted to be respected.
1) 잔치 상석과 회당에서 상좌에 앉기를 좋아했습니다. (눅11:43) 43화 있을찐저 너희 바리새인이여 너희가 회당의 높은 자리와 시장에서 문안 받는 것을 기뻐하는도다
43“Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.(Luke 11:43)
2) 시장에서 문안받고 존경받기 놓아했습니다.(마23:7 ) 6잔치의 상석과 회당의 상좌와 7시장에서 문안 받는 것과 사람에게 랍비라 칭함을 받는 것을 좋아하느니라 7they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.(Matthew 23:7)
3) 존경받기를 좋아합니다.(랍비 – 지도자) (마23:8-12)
8그러나 너희는 랍비라 칭함을 받지 말라 너희 선생은 하나이요 너희는 다 형제니라 9땅에 있는 자를 아비라 하지 말라 너희 아버지는 하나이시니 곧 하늘에 계신 자시니라 10또한 지도자라 칭함을 받지 말라 너희 지도자는 하나이니 곧 그리스도니라 11너희 중에 큰 자는 너희를 섬기는 자가 되어야 하리라 12누구든지 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 누구든지 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리 8“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:8-12)
우리는 우리의 삶속에서 언행이 일치하는가?
화려한 이론을 전개하고 박력있는 설교를 하면서 그렇게 실천하고 있는가?
실로 우리자신도 바리세인보다 다른게 있는가?
혹시 우리의 선행이 남에게 보이기 위한 채면적 선행이 아닌가 생각해 봐야 합니다.
Are our words and actions consistent in our lives?
Are you developing a splendid theory and putting it into practice while preaching powerful sermons?
Indeed, are we ourselves any different than the Pharisees?
Maybe we should think about whether our good deeds are not good deeds to be shown to others.
