의인의 수난과 최후의 승리

 

시편 121:1-8   내가 산을 향하여 눈을 들리라 나의 도움이 어디서 올꼬 2나의 도움이 천지를 지으신 여호와에게서로다 3여호와께서 너로 실족지 않게 하시며 너를 지키시는 자가 졸지 아니하시리로다 4이스라엘을 지키시는 자는 졸지도 아니하고 주무시지도 아니하시리로다 5여호와는 너를 지키시는 자라 여호와께서 네 우편에서 네 그늘이 되시나니 6낮의 해가 너를 상치 아니하며 밤의 달도 너를 해치 아니하리로다 7여호와께서 너를 지켜 모든 환난을 면케 하시며 또 네 영혼을 지키시리로다 8여호와께서 너의 출입을 지금부터 영원까지 지키시리로다

1I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? 2My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; 4indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; 8the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:1-8)

 

하나님의 아들이신 독생자 예수께서 이 세상에 을 때 마땅히 환영해야 하는데 왜 고생과 아픔만 있었을까요?  유사이래로 의인들이 고난을 당하고 비참하게 순교 당했습니다.

하박국 선지자는 하나님께 질문하기를 어찌하여 하나님께서 의인이 수난 당하는데 잠잠하십니까? 라고 질문했는데 이는 성도들이 마음에 품고 있는  의문이 아닐 수 없습니다.

하나님은 이스라엘에게 잠잠하여 기다려 보라는 것입니다. 하나님께서 다스리신다는 하십니다.

 

1.  의인의 자세

1)   하나님 중심으로 살라 (롬 14:6-8) 6날을 중히 여기는 자도 주를 위하여 중히 여기고 먹는 자도 주를 위하여 먹으니 이는 하나님께 감사함이요 먹지 않는 자도 주를 위하여 먹지 아니하며 하나님께 감사하느니라 7우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다 8우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로라

  6Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:6-8)

2)    객관적인 입장에서 이타주의를 구현하고 (롬15:1-3)

1우리 강한 자가 마땅히 연약한 자의 약점을 담당하고 자기를 기쁘게 하지 아니할 것이라 2우리 각 사람이 이웃을 기쁘게 하되 선을 이루고 덕을 세우도록 할찌니라 3그리스도께서 자기를 기쁘게 하지 아니하셨나니 기록된바 주를 비방하는 자들의 비방이 내게 미쳤나이다 함과 같으니라

1We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” (Romans 15:1-3)

 

3)   장기적인 안목으로 희생하며 생활한다 (롬 8:18)

17자녀이면 또한 후사 곧 하나님의 후사요 그리스도와 함께한 후사니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 될 것이니라18생각건대 현재의 고난은 장차 우리에게 나타날 영광과 족히 비교할 수 없도다

17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)

 

2.  의인의 수난

1)   어두움의 권세가 행하는횡포  (눅22:53)

52예수께서 그 잡으러 온 대제사장들과 성전의 군관들과 장로들에게 이르시되 너희가 강도를 잡는 것 같이 검과 몽치를 가지고 나왔느냐 53내가 날마다 너희와 함께 성전에 있을 때에 내게 손을 대지 아니하였도다 그러나 이제는 너희 때요 어두움의 권세로다 하시더라

52Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? 53Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.” (Luke 22:53)

 

2)   경건하게 살고자 하는자는 핍박 받게 되니 ( 딤후3:12)

12무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살고자 하는 자는 핍박을 받으리라 13악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니

12In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

13while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:12)

 

3)   머리둘곳 없을 만큼 고난 받는 생활. (마8:20)

20예수께서 이르시되 여우도 굴이 있고 공중의 새도 거처가 있으되 오직 인자는 머리 둘 곳이 없다 하시더라

20Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Matthew 8:20)

 

3.  의인의 승리

1)   하나님이 살아계셔 의인들을 보호하고 (시121: 1-8)

2)   의인들의 간구함과 희생적인 협력으로 (롬11:3-5)

3주여 저희가 주의 선지자들을 죽였으며 주의 제단들을 헐어버렸고 나만 남았는데 내 목숨도 찾나이다 하니 4저에게 하신 대답이 무엇이뇨 내가 나를 위하여 바알에게 무릎을 꿇지 아니한 사람 칠천을 남겨 두었다 하셨으니 5그런즉 이와 같이 이제도 은혜로 택하심을 따라 남은 자가 있느니라

3“Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”? 4And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. (Romans 11:3-5) 1King 19:10-14)

 

3)   진리로서 최후에는 승리한다. (갈6:7-8)

7스스로 속이지 말라 하나님은 만홀히 여김을 받지 아니하시나니 사람이 무엇으로 심든지 그대로 거두리라 8자기의 육체를 위하여 심는 자는 육체로부터 썩어진 것을 거두고 성령을 위하여 심는 자는 성령으로부터 영생을 거두리라

7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7,8)

 

4)   천국에는 의인들을 위해 영생복락이 준비되어있다 (마25:34-40)

34그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복 받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속하라 35내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고 36벗었을 때에 옷을 입혔고 병들었을 때에 돌아보았고 옥에 갇혔을 때에 와서 보았느니라 37이에 의인들이 대답하여 가로되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주의 주리신 것을 보고 공궤하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마시게 하였나이까 38어느 때에 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하였으며 벗으신 것을 보고 옷 입혔나이까 39어느 때에 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 가서 뵈었나이까 하리니 40임금이 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고

34“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’  (Matthew 25:34-40)

 

오늘날 기독교인들은 수자적으로 20억명이라고 합니다. 과연 이중에 얼마나 진정한 그리스도인일까요?  성경에 나타나는 하나님의 역사는 의인들이 현세에서는 어려우나  주님이 오시는 그때에 주님이 예비하신 천국에 들림을 받을 수 있기 때문에 힘들고 어려우나 낙심말고 믿음으로 감사하며 살 것이며 악인들이 형통하는 것을 부러워 말고 끝까지 믿음으로 위에서 허락하시는 상급을 바라보며 나아갑시다.
