계명에 대한 이해

Understanding the commandments

마22:34-40 막 12:28-34

34예수께서 사두개인들로 대답할 수 없게 하셨다 함을 바리새인들이 듣고 모였는데

35그 중에 한 율법사가 예수를 시험하여 묻되 36선생님이여 율법 중에 어느 계명이 크니이까 37예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 38이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 39둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 40이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라

The Greatest Commandment

34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

(Matthew 22:34-40)

 

바리새인들은 다시 율법사와 더부러 예수께와서 예수를 시험하여 율법중에 어떤 계명이 크냐고 질문하였습니다. 당시 유대인들은 의식적인 율법이 크냐 도덕적인 율법이 크냐하고 논란이 생겨서 갈피를 못잡을 때였습니다. 예수께서 대답은 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃사랑하는 것이 계명의 큰 뜻이라 하니 저희들은 할일이 없어졌다. 하나님과 인간관계 하나님과의 관계와 인간대인간관계를 말씀하여 십자가를 이루는 계명의 대지를 말씀했으니 이는 세계인류가 명심하고 지켜야 할 생활이념이요 율리의 이야기 였습니다.

 

1.    하나님을 사랑하고

1)     마음을 다하여 – 성품과 정성을 다하여 (왕하 23:25 

25요시야와 같이 마음을 다하며 성품을 다하며 힘을 다하여 여호와를 향하여 모세의 모든 율법을 온전히 준행한 임금은 요시야 전에도 없었고 후에도 그와 같은 자가 없었더라

 25Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the Lord as he did—with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses. (2kings 23:25)

 

2)     목숨을 다하여 – 생애와 생명을 다하여  (롬14:6-8

6날을 중히 여기는 자도 주를 위하여 중히 여기고 먹는 자도 주를 위하여 먹으니 이는 하나님께 감사함이요 먹지 않는 자도 주를 위하여 먹지 아니하며 하나님께 감사하느니라 7우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다 8우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로라

6Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

 

3)     뜻을 다하여 – 사상과 정신을 다하여 (시 119:10-16)

10내가 전심으로 주를 찾았사오니 주의 계명에서 떠나지 말게 하소서 11내가 주께 범죄치 아니하려 하여 주의 말씀을 내 마음에 두었나이다 12찬송을 받으실 여호와여 주의 율례를 내게 가르치소서 13주의 입의 모든 규례를 나의 입술로 선포하였으며 14내가 모든 재물을 즐거워함 같이 주의 증거의 도를 즐거워하였나이다 15내가 주의 법도를 묵상하며 주의 도에 주의하며 16주의 율례를 즐거워하며 주의 말씀을 잊지 아니하리이다

 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.11I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.12Praise be to you, Lord;

teach me your decrees.13With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.4I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. 15I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. 16I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. (Psalms 119:10-16)

 

2.     이웃을 사랑하라

1)     네 이웃을 네몸과 같이 사랑하라 (레19:18

18원수를 갚지 말며 동포를 원망하지 말며 이웃 사랑하기를 네 몸과 같이 하라 나는 여호와니라

18Then a man who is ceremonially clean is to take some hyssop, dip it in the water and sprinkle the tent and all the furnishings and the people who were there. He must also sprinkle anyone who has touched a human bone or a grave or anyone who has been killed or anyone who has died a natural death  (Numbers 19:18)

2)     네 형제를 기쁘게하고 선과 덕을 세우라 (롬15:2

우리 각 사람이 이웃을 기쁘게 하되 선을 이루고 덕을 세우도록 할찌니라

2 let each of us please his neighbors, and do good and build virtue (Romans 15:2)

3)     네 형제위해 목숨까지 즐겨 바치라 (살전 2:8

8우리가 이같이 너희를 사모하여 하나님의 복음으로만 아니라 우리 목숨까지 너희에게 주기를 즐겨함은 너희가 우리의 사랑하는 자 됨이니라

8so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

 

3.     사랑은 계명의 완성

1)     사랑은 율법의 완성이다. (롬13:8

8피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무에게든지 아무 빚도 지지 말라 남을 사랑하는 자는 율법을 다 이루었느니라

8  Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8)

2)     사랑은 율법과 선지자의 강령이다(마22:40

40이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라

40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:40)

3)     그리스도의 새계명은 서로 사랑하라 (요13:34

34새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라

34“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (john 13:34)

 

우리가 사랑의 계명을 지키려면 하나님과 주 예수님의 사랑에 크게 감동되어 주님위해 순교하려는 뜨거운 감격과 헌신의  의욕이 생겨야하며 인류를 사랑하려 할때 저들은 하나님의 형상이요 주님께서 위하여 못박혀 죽으신 형제로 믿고 사랑해야할 것입니다. 사랑이 곧 인류사랑이요, 인류사랑이 곧 하나님 사랑임을 믿어 절대적인 사랑 아가페의 사랑으로 이 계명을 지켜야 할 것입니다.
