혼인잔치의 비유는 우리에게 어떤 교훈을 주는가

마태복음 22:1-14

1예수께서 다시 비유로 대답하여 가라사대 2천국은 마치 자기 아들을 위하여 혼인 잔치를 베푼 어떤 임금과 같으니 3그 종들을 보내어 그 청한 사람들을 혼인 잔치에 오라 하였더니 오기를 싫어하거늘 4다시 다른 종들을 보내며 가로되 청한 사람들에게 이르기를 내가 오찬을 준비하되 나의 소와 살진 짐승을 잡고 모든 것을 갖추었으니 혼인 잔치에 오소서 하라 하였더니 5저희가 돌아 보지도 않고 하나는 자기 밭으로, 하나는 자기 상업차로 가고 6그 남은 자들은 종들을 잡아 능욕하고 죽이니 7임금이 노하여 군대를 보내어 그 살인한 자들을 진멸하고 그 동네를 불사르고 8이에 종들에게 이르되 혼인 잔치는 예비되었으나 청한 사람들은 합당치 아니하니 9사거리 길에 가서 사람을 만나는대로 혼인 잔치에 청하여 오너라 한대 10종들이 길에 나가 악한 자나 선한 자나 만나는 대로 모두 데려오니 혼인자리에 손이 가득한지라 11임금이 손을 보러 들어올쌔 거기서 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. 4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’ 5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.

예수께서는 혼인잔치비유를 통해 유대인들을 책망하시며 그동안 사람취급을 받지못하고 살아온  이방인들에게도 하나님께서 구원의 문을 넓게 열어놓으시고 예수그리스도의 보혈을 통해서 구원에 참여하라고 교훈하셨습니다.

하나님은 모든 사람이 구원받기를 간절히 원하시나 인간들은 이를 외면하고 있는 어리석음을 보여 주고 있습니다.

 

1.   하나님의 초대

1)     예수님과 성도들을 위해서 (계19:7-10)

7우리가 즐거워하고 크게 기뻐하여 그에게 영광을 돌리세 어린 양의 혼인 기약이 이르렀고 그 아내가 예비하였으니 8그에게 허락하사 빛나고 깨끗한 세마포를 입게 하셨은즉 이 세마포는 성도들의 옳은 행실이로다 하더라 9천사가 내게 말하기를 기록하라 어린 양의 혼인 잔치에 청함을 입은 자들이 복이 있도다 하고 또 내게 말하되 이것은 하나님의 참되신 말씀이라 하기로 10내가 그 발 앞에 엎드려 경배하려 하니 그가 나더러 말하기를 나는 너와 및 예수의 증거를 받은 네 형제들과 같이 된 종이니 삼가 그리하지 말고 오직 하나님께 경배하라 예수의 증거는 대언의 영이라 하더라

7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” 10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” (Revelation 19:7-10)

 

2)    모든 것을 갖추어놓은 광장이 큰잔치이다.(눅14:17)

17잔치할 시간에 그 청하였던 자들에게 종을 보내어 가로되 오소서 모든 것이 준비되었나이다 하매

17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Luke 14:17)

 

3)    모든 사람이 참여하게 하기 위한 초대하는 잔치(마11:29

29나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그러면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니 30이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

 

2.    초대에 불응한 불신앙

1)      무조건 불응하는 불신앙자 (히2:3

3우리가 이같이 큰 구원을 등한히 여기면 어찌 피하리요 이 구원은 처음에 주로 말씀하신 바요 들은 자들이 우리에게 확증한 바니

3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation,  which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him (Hebrews 2:3)

 

2)      세상일에 얽메어서 물질을 중요시 여기즌 불신앙자(딤전6:9-,10)

9부하려 하는 자들은 시험과 올무와 여러가지 어리석고 해로운 정욕에 떨어지나니 곧 사람으로 침륜과 멸망에 빠지게 하는 것이라 10돈을 사랑함이 일만 악의 뿌리가 되나니 이것을 사모하는 자들이 미혹을 받아 믿음에서 떠나 많은 근심으로써 자기를 찔렀도다

9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (1Timothy 6:9,10)

 

3)      은혜에 대하여 적대시하는 악한자들 (마22:5-7

5저희가 돌아 보지도 않고 하나는 자기 밭으로, 하나는 자기 상업차로 가고 6그 남은 자들은 종들을 잡아 능욕하고 죽이니 7임금이 노하여 군대를 보내어 그 살인한 자들을 진멸하고 그 동네를 불사르고

5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. (Matthew 22:5-7)

 

3.    특별초대

1)      네거리에 나가서 누구든지 데려오라 (골3:11

11거기는 헬라인과 유대인이나 할례당과 무할례당이나 야인이나 스구디아인이나 종이나 자유인이 분별이 있을 수 없나니 오직 그리스도는 만유시요 만유 안에 계시니라

11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. (Colossians 3:11)

 

2)      악한자나 선한 자나 차별말고 데려오라 (마22:10)

10종들이 길에 나가 악한 자나 선한 자나 만나는 대로 모두 데려오니 혼인자리에 손이 가득한지라11임금이 손을 보러 들어올쌔 거기서 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고

12가로되 친구여 어찌하여 예복을 입지 않고 여기 들어왔느냐 하니 저가 유구무언이어늘

10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. (Matthew 22:10)

 

4.    예복음 입지 않은 자들

1)      주예수의 보혈로서 정결케 된  새예복 (계7:14)

14내가 가로되 내 주여 당신이 알리이다 하니 그가 나더러 이르되 이는 큰 환난에서 나오는 자들인데 어린양의 피에 그 옷을 씻어 희게 하였느니라

14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

(Revelation 7:14)

 

2)      성도들의 의로운 행실인 세마포 예복 (계 19:8)

8그에게 허락하사 빛나고 깨끗한 세마포를 입게 하셨은즉 이 세마포는 성도들의 옳은 행실이로다 하더라

8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) (Revelation 19:8)

 

5.    하나님의 심판

1)      초청거부한 동네를 불살으고 진멸하심 (마24:2

2대답하여 가라사대 너희가 이 모든 것을 보지 못하느냐 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 다 무너뜨리우리라

2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down. (Matthew 24:2)

 

2)      예복을 입지 않은 손님은 결박하여 내어던짐 (마22:13)

13임금이 사환들에게 말하되 그 수족을 결박하여 바깥 어두움에 내어 던지라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라 하니라

13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’(Matthew 22:13)

 

청한 자는 많은 데 택함 받은 자가 적다고 하셨으니 우리는 주예수님의 보열을 통한 세마포 예복을 입고 주안에서 택함을 입읍시다.
