Let's revive the passion of the Gospel

““When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”” Matthew‬ ‭12:43-45‬ ‭NIV

We cannot and must not leave our hearts empty
     •Must clean and fix to restore our hearts
         ◦Be rid of worldly desires and idols
         ◦resolve pain

     •Empty heart is dangerous as evil can take residence

We must welcome our Lord to our empty hearts
     •Holy Spirit must abide in us
        ◦We must follow and act in accordance with the Holy Spirit's desires
     ◾Be born again
     ◾Be fruitful
     ◾fruit of light
     ◾fruit of the Holy Spirit
     ◾Be a witness of the Gospel
     ◾Become one in God
     ◾“then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love,
         being one in spirit and of one mind.” Philippians‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

     •We must be filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬ ‭NIV‬‬


     •We must be filled with the Holy Spirit

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?” Acts‬ ‭2:1-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
        ◦There must be prayers with tears of sincerity
        ◦There must be fervor with sweat-filled effort
        ◦There must be dedication to the point of spilling our own blood

The spirits left your heart and you think you are good… Not realizing that the empty heart leaves a self-centered life leading to corruption from worldly desires… When the spirits come back it brings back more stronger evil spirits to join him in infiltrating your weakened heart. Therefore, take care of your heart… Clean your heart, and receive the Holy Spirit in to lead a God centered life. As God is the center of our hearts, there will be no room for evil to infiltrate and you will lead a triumphant life serving God for His glory… We are never alone. We are strong in Him!
