be awake

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine
power to destroy strongholds. ( 2 Corinthians 10 : 4 ESV)
spiritual preparation
praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To
that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all
the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in
opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for
which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I
ought to speak. ( Ephesians 6 : 18-20 ESV)
pray and ask God
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and
it will be opened to you. ( Matthew 7 : 7 ESV)
pray in the spirit - not for your selfish desires but for fulfilling
God's will
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know
what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
with groanings too deep for words. ( Romans 8 : 26 ESV)
pray and don't be discouraged and disappointed
And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to
