The hope of Christians

 Hebrews히브리서 6:13-20

 13하나님이 아브라함에게 약속하실 때에 가리켜 맹세할 자가 자기보다 더 큰이가 없으므로 자기를 가리켜 맹세하여 14가라사대 내가 반드시 너를 복주고 복주며 너를 번성케 하고 번성케 하리라 하셨더니 15저가 이같이 오래 참아 약속을 받았느니라 16사람들은 자기보다 더 큰 자를 가리켜 맹세하나니 맹세는 저희 모든 다투는 일에 최후 확정이니라 17하나님은 약속을 기업으로 받는 자들에게 그 뜻이 변치 아니함을 충분히 나타내시려고 그 일에 맹세로 보증하셨나니 18이는 하나님이 거짓말을 하실 수 없는 이 두 가지 변치 못할 사실을 인하여 앞에 있는 소망을 얻으려고 피하여 가는 우리로 큰 안위를 받게 하려 하심이라 19우리가 이 소망이 있는 것은 영혼의 닻 같아서 튼튼하고 견고하여 휘장 안에 들어 가나니 20그리로 앞서 가신 예수께서 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇아 영원히 대제사장이 되어 우리를 위하여 들어 가셨느니라

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” 15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 6:13-20)

A.   소망이란?

What is hope?

Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large. As a verb, its definitions include: "expect with confidence" and "to cherish a desire with anticipation". Wikipedia

 

성경에서 말하는 소망은 확신에 찬 기대를 뜻합니다. 소망이란 불확실하고 알 수 없어 보이더라도 하나님께서 반드시 이루실 것에 대한 확고한 자심감을 말합니다.

신약성경에서는 이 소망을  긍정적인 기대감을 의미하며, 그것은 우리가 실제로 미래에 일어날 것이라 기대하는 것을 긍정적으로 미리 속으로 그려보는 것입니다.

그래서 소망이란 하나님만이 길이며, 진리이시라는 고백으로 바라볼 수 없는 것을 바라보게 하며, 꿈꿀 수 없는 것을 꿈꾸게 되는 것을 의미합니다.

배를 저어가게 하는 역할은 노와 키, 그리고  닻입니다. 본문은 소망을 영혼의 닻과 같다고 하였습니다.

신약성경에서 말하는 소망은 그리스도 안에서 구약성경의 약속들이 이루어진다는 것입니다. (마태복음 12:21; 베드로전서 1:3). 그리스도인의 소망의 뿌리는 그리스도의 신성한 구원에 대한 믿음에 있습니다(갈라디아서 5:5). 그리스도인의 소망은 약속된 성령님의 임재를 통해 세상에 이루어집니다(로마서 8:24-25). 이는 죽은 자의 부활에 대한 미래의 소망이며(사도행전 23:6), 이스라엘에게 주어진 약속이며(사도행전 26:6-7), 모든 육과 모든 피조물의 구원이자의 소망 입니다.(로마서 8:23-25),

23이뿐 아니라 또한 우리 곧 성령의 처음 익은 열매를 받은 우리까지도 속으로 탄식하여 양자 될것 곧 우리 몸의 구속을 기다리느니라 24우리가 소망으로 구원을 얻었으매 보이는 소망이 소망이 아니니 보는 것을 누가 바라리요 25만일 우리가 보지 못하는 것을 바라면 참음으로 기다릴찌니라

23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. (Romans 8:23-25)

영원한 영광의 소망입니다.(골로새서 1:27),

27하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 어떻게 풍성한 것을 알게 하려하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라

27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

이 소망은 성도들의 영생과 상속(디도서 3:5-7)자가 되는 것입니다.,

5우리를 구원하시되 우리의 행한바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고 오직 그의 긍휼하심을 좇아 중생의 씻음과 성령의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨나니 6성령을 우리 구주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 풍성히 부어 주사 7우리로 저의 은혜를 힘입어 의롭다 하심을 얻어 영생의 소망을 따라 후사가 되게 하려 하심이라

5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:5-7)

하나님의 은혜 로 그리스도의 재림(디도서 2:11-14), 을 소망합니다.

11모든 사람에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 은혜가 나타나 12우리를 양육하시되 경건치 않은 것과 이 세상 정욕을 다 버리고 근신함과 의로움과 경건함으로 이 세상에 살고 13복스러운 소망과 우리의 크신 하나님 구주 예수 그리스도의 영광이 나타나심을 기다리게 하셨으니 14그가 우리를 대신하여 자신을 주심은 모든 불법에서 우리를 구속하시고 우리를 깨끗하게 하사 선한 일에 열심하는 친 백성이 되게 하려 하심이니라

11For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:11-14)

이 소망을 갖은 자만이 그리스도를 닮아가는 변화(요한일서 3:2-3), 를 체험하게 됩니다.

2사랑하는 자들아 우리가 지금은 하나님의 자녀라 장래에 어떻게 될 것은 아직 나타나지 아니하였으나 그가 나타내심이 되면 우리가 그와 같을 줄을 아는 것은 그의 계신 그대로 볼 것을 인함이니 3주를 향하여 이 소망을 가진 자마다 그의 깨끗하심과 같이 자기를 깨끗하게 하느니라

2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. (1 John 3;:2,3)

 

B.  그리스도인은 왜 소망을 갖어야 합니까?

Why must Christians hold onto hope?

1.     그리스도인은 하나님의 자녀이며 천국백성이기 때문이다.

Because Christians are God’s children and His people (벧전1:2; 2:9)

우리는 하나님의 자녀로 택함을 받았습니다. 성령의 거룩하게 하심으로  순종하여 예수그리스도의 보혈로 죄가운데서 선택받아  의인이라 칭함을 받았습니다. (벧전 1:2; )  , 2who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

예수그리스도안에 있는 구속으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었습니다.(롬 3:24,25)

Romans 3:2 4and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.

벧전 2:9오직 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 자의 아름다운 덕을 선전하게 하려 하심이라

1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

 

2.     우리는 거듭났고 하나님 나라에서 영생을 보장 받기 때문이다 ( 벧전 1:3)

Because we have been saved and have been promised eternal life

찬송하리로다 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지 하나님이 그 많으신 긍휼대로 예수 그리스도의 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하심으로 말미암아 우리를 거듭나게 하사 산 소망이 있게 하시며 4썩지 않고 더럽지 않고 쇠하지 아니하는 기업을 잇게 하시나니 곧 너희를 위하여 하늘에 간직하신 것이라.

1Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,

 

3.     하나님께서 소망에 대한 인내를 기억하시기 때문(살전 1:3)

Because God remembers those that have patience in what they hope for

바울은 데살로니가 교인이 활력있는 신앙인 믿음의 역사를 가지고 하나님을 섬기며, 사랑의 수고안에서  희생하며, 지속적인 신앙생활인 소망의 인내를 하는 것을 칭찬 하고 있습니다.

“너희의 믿음의 역사와 사랑의 수고와 우리 주 예수 그리스도에 대한 소망의 인내를 우리 하나님 아버지 앞에서 쉬지 않고 기억함이니 4하나님의 사랑하심을 받은 형제들아 너희를 택하심을 아노라”  (살전 1:3,4)

2 We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 4 For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you,(1 Thessalonians 1:2-4)

 

4.     소망의 인내를 통해서 구원완성을 이루기 때문이다 ( 롬 5:4,5)

Because it is through patience in what we hope for that our salvation is made complete

그리스도인이 내가 하나님의 사랑을 받았다면 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못박혀 내 자신이 완전히 죽고 예수를 믿는 믿음안에서 살아야 합니다.(갈2:20) 그것이 소망의 인내 입니다. 소망의 인내가 없는 사람은 육신적, 정욕적이어서 늘 싸움을 일으키며 교회에서 열매가 없습니다. 마지막 환란때 끝까지 견디는 자에게는 구원의 열매가 있지만 견디지 못하는 자는 예수님을 배반하게 됩니다. (마10:22)

성도의 신앙생활중에서 소망의 인내를 하는 것은 우리가 믿음으로 의로다 하심을 받았으니 우리주 예수그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리며, 우리가 믿음으로 서 있는 은혜에 들어감을 얻었으므로, 하나님의 영광을 바라고 즐거워하며, 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하는 것은 환난은 인내를, 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이룰 줄 알기 때문입니다.(롬 5:1-4)

“1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:1-4)

 

C.  어떻게 소망의 인내를 준비 할 수 있습니까?

How can we prepare ourselves to have patience in what we hope for?

1.     진리로 마음의 허리를 동이고 깨어 항상 기도하라 (벧전 1:13)

Have the belt of truth tightly around ourselves, be alert and pray always.

진리는 예수 그리스도이십니다.(요14:6) 바울사도는 에베소 교회에게  오늘날의 우리의 씨름은  육에 대한 것이 아니요 정사와 권세와 이 어두움의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에게 대함이라 (엡12) 하였습니다. 그래서 성도는 전신 갑주로 무장하라 하였습니다. 전신갑주로 무장할 때 우리에게 필요한것은 우리가 예수 그리스도안에 거하고 그리스도가 내안에 거하는 삶을 살아야 합니다.

3그러므로 너희 마음의 허리를 동이고 근신하여 예수 그리스도의 나타나실 때에 너희에게 가져올 은혜를 온전히 바랄찌어다.

1Peter 1:13Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

 

2.     하나님 말씀을 주야로 묵상하고 행하라(시1:1-3)

Read the word of God constantly and act according to the word.

말씀을 묵상하는 것은 행복과 형통의 길이요. 말씀을 묵상하는 것은 풍성한 생명을 얻고 누리는 길입니다. 말씀은 예수님을 영접하므로 생명을 얻는다 하셨습니다. (요3:16) 예수께서도 직접말씀하셨습니다. “내가 온것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라 하셨습니다.  그러므로 하나님의 말씀을 받아들이는 것은 육신으로 오신 예수님을 받아들이는 것이요 예수님을 받아 들이는 것은 곧 생명을 얻되 더 풍성히 얻는 것입니다..

요한계시록 22장 1-3에 장차 실현될 하늘 예루살렘에는 수정같이 맑은 생명수의 강 좌우에 생명 나무가 있는데 이 나무가 열두 가지 실과를 맺고 그 잎사귀가 온 인류를 치료한다고 기록되어 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀으로 영생을 얻은 성도는 바로 이 땅에서 하늘의 생명 나무의 열매를 미리 말씀을 통해서 먹는 것이 됩니다.

요한계시록 22:1-3)또 저가 수정 같이 맑은 생명수의 강을 내게 보이니 하나님과 및 어린 양의 보좌로부터 나서 2길 가운데로 흐르더라 강 좌우에 생명 나무가 있어 열 두가지 실과를 맺히되 달마다 그 실과를 맺히고 그 나무 잎사귀들은 만국을 소성하기 위하여 있더라

1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. (Revelation 22:1-3)

 

3.     신의 성품에 참여하라 (벧후 1:3-7)

Participate in the divine nature.

하나님은 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주셨습니다. 이 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하고 신의 성품에 참여하는 자가 되라 하셨습니다.

우리는 더욱 힘써 우리의 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을, 형건에 형제우래를, 형제   우애에 사랑을 공급하라 “(벧후1:3-7) 했습니다.

3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. (2Peter 1:3-7)

 

우리에게 주시는 교훈

Today’s Lesson

1.       그리스도인은 복받은 자여서 소망이 있습니다.(시편 1:1-3)

Christians have hope because we have been blessed by God.

 

2.       그 소망은 성도가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 믿음안에서 달려갈길을 마치면  주 곧 의로운 제판장이신 예수 그리스도께서 강림하시는 그날에 의의 면류관이 준비되며 나뿐만아니라  주님의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게 허락하십니다.(딤후4:7,8)

7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2Tiomothy 4:7,8)

 

그리스도인의 소망을 위해서는 믿음의 역사와 사랑의 수고와 소망의 인내를 갖고 우리 하나님 앞에서 쉬지않고 기억해야 합니다.(살전 1:3)

3We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (1thessalonians 1:3)
