Do you truly know the gift of salvation from God?
하나님이 주신 구원의 선물을 아시나요?
신명기 30:11-14
Deuteronomy 30:11-14 (NIV)
The Offer of Life or Death
11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
오늘 읽은 성경말씀에서 율법은 쉽고 우리 가까이 있으며 우리가 행할 수 있는 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 그런데 사도 바울은 이와 반대로 율법은 지킬 수 없는 것이라고 가르쳐 주고 있습니다.(롬3:20; 4:15)
In today’s scriptures it says that the commands are not far away but rather close/near you. However, Paul teaches us something different.
“ 율법의 행위로 그의 앞에 의롭다 하심을 얻을 육체가 없나니 율법으로는 죄를 깨달음이니라(롬3:20) “율법은 진노를 이루게 하나니 율법이 없는 곳에는 범함도 없느니라(롬4:15)
Romans 3:20 (NIV)
20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Romans 4:15 (NIV)
15 because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.
신약이나 구약성경이 동일하게 성령에 의해 기록된 말씀인데 둘 중의 하나가 잘못된 것일까요? 그렇지는 않습니다. 우리는 두 말씀을 조화있게 다루어야 합니다. 신구약의 말씀은 서로 상응하는 것이며 율법과 복음도 상호 보완적인 것입니다.
Does this mean that one or the other is incorrect? No it isn’t. We must treat both words in a harmonious way. The words of the Old and New Testaments correspond to each other, and the Law and the Gospel are complementary.
하나님의 율법은 대부분 “하라(Do it) 와 하지말라(Do not it) 두 형태로 분류되어 있는데 당시 이스라엘 백성들은 율법이 자신들을 얽어매고 짐을 지우는 의무로만 생각하였기 때문에 율법을 지키는 것은 지겹고 어려우며 힘든 것으로만 생각하였습니다. 그러나 본문에서 율법의 목적은 인간에게 무거운 짐을 지우기 위함이 아니라 복을 주기 위함 입니다, 따라서 율법 을 지키는것이 의무가 아닌 기쁨과 즐거움으로 행한다면 그것은 결코 어려운 일이 아니라는 것입니다.
God’s commands can be broadly broken down into “do” and “do not”. At the time, the Israelites had a hard time keeping the commands because they viewed the commands to restrict and burden their lives. However, today’s scriptures tell us that the commands’ purpose is to allow us to attain it rather than keep it from reach.
본문은 단지 율법만을 말하는 것이 아니라 복음도 아야기 하고 있습니다. 그러므로 예수님께서는 “모세는 내게 대하여 기록했느니라” 고 말씀하신 것입니다(요5:46) The scriptures not only speak about the laws but also about the Gospel.
“46 모세를 믿었더면 또 나를 믿었으리니 이는 그가 내게 대하여 기록하였음이라(요5:46)

46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
율법의 목적은 예수 그리스도를 나타내는데 있습니다. 그러므로 본문은 예수 그리스도를 통한 구원에 대하여 말하고 있는 것입니다. The purpose of the law/commandments is to prepare the way for the Christ. Therefore, the scriptures speak about salvation through Jesus Christ.
사도 바울은 구약의 본문을 인용하여 오직 믿음으로 의롭게 되는 도를 설명 했습니다 의롭게 되므로 하나님을 만날 수 있습니다. 하나님과 만남의 관계가 이루어 질때 하나님은 우리의 아버지가 되고 우리는 양자의 영을 받아 하나님의 자녀가 되는 것입니다. 이 관계가 이루어질때 우리는 구원을 받은 것입니다. Apostle Paul speaks about becoming righteous through faith and through righteousness meeting God. When this meeting occurs, God becomes our Father and we become His children. This relationship affirms our receipt of salvation.
우리는 구원의 방법인 복음에 대하여 살펴보게습니다. We will now review in more detail about the Gospel which is the way to salvation.
1 복음은 분명하고 단순합니다. The Gospel is specific and simple.
하나님께서는 구원의 방법을 분명하고 단순하게 밝혀 놓으셨습니다. 하나님께서 베풀어 놓으신 천국 잔치에 참여하는데는 어린 아이라도 이해할 수 있는 명료한 약도 즉 plan 이 필요합니다. 그 약도가 바로 복음의 말씀입니다. 하나님께서는 복음의 길인 복음을 누구라도 쉽게 깨닫고 이해 할 수 있도록 분명하고 단순하게 계시하셨습니다.
하나님께서 가장 쉽게 분명하고 단순하게 기록해 놓은 말씀을 사람들이 복잡하거나 추상적인 것으로 곡해하는 것은 그들의 마음의 완악하기 때문입니다. 때문에 심령이 완악한 자는 하나님의 말씀을 듣고도 깨닫지 못합니다.(마13:13) 그러므로 누구든지 어린 아이와 같지 아니하면 천국에 들어 갈 수 없다고 하셨습니다.(마18:3)
구원의 방법은 성경말씀에 쓰여진 그대로 입니다. 그러므로 본문에서도 “오늘날 네게 명한 명령은 네게 어려운 것도 아니요” 라고 말씀하셨습니다.
1) 복음을 알면 구원에 이르게 됩니다.
If you know the Gospel, you will attain salvation.
