Faith of Righteous Noah
Hebrew 11:7 Genesis 6:9-10

“It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from
the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had
never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of
the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.”
Hebrews 11:7 NLT
“This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous
man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he
walked in close fellowship with God.” Genesis 6:9 NLT
Evidence of Noah's faith
Noah executed on something he had not seen happen, obeying
God and believed in what God told him… Even though he never
saw such a flood before
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually
happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”
Hebrews 11:1 NLT
evidence of our faith comes from the word of God
“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News
about Christ.” Romans 10:17 NLT
The act of faith in answering to God's words
“Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was
with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important.
Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God
with deep reverence and fear.” Philippians 2:12 NLT
“Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse
ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And
let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.” 2
Corinthians 7:1 NLT
“Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can
righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live
with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and
the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?
And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols?
For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live
in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will
be my people. Therefore, come out from among unbelievers,
and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch
their filthy things, and I will welcome you. And I will be your
Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD
Almighty. ”” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 NLT
Promise that we become God's people, and God becomes our
Father
“Now he cares for you more than ever when he remembers the
way all of you obeyed him and welcomed him with such fear and
deep respect.” 2 Corinthians 7:15 NLT
Act of faith that delights God
Noah started building the ark despite not knowing when it will
rain or the type of flood God declared
it was clear skies and no sign of any rain, everyone thought he
was insane, but no criticism hindered him listening to and
believing in and acting according to God's words
having complete faith in God and trusting him in all
circumstances is key
faith without action, good works, and deeds is useless
“Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead
without good works.” James 2:26 NLT
Compensation and evidence of faith
comes from the seed of the word of God
“It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family
from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things
that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned
the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that
comes by faith.” Hebrews 11:7 NLT
“They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved,
along with everyone in your household.”” Acts of the Apostles
16:31 NLT
Results of faith
Noah's family was saved
Reality that this life is limited and that only with salvation can we
have eternal life
“Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for
such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future,
their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.”” Genesis
6:3 NLT
saved at the time of judgement day
““When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s
day.” Matthew 24:37 NLT
Be weary and alert… Do not be complacent. Act according to
your faith to serve God. Do not ignore God's commands. Be in
Christ and be saved!
“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ
Jesus.” Romans 8:1 NLT
“He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom
with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”
Ephesians 1:7 NLT
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life
through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 NLT
Are you IN the ark to be saved or outside of the ark to be
condemned? There is only one door into the ark of salvation -
Jesus Christ. Are you in Jesus Christ?
“Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be
saved. They will come and go freely and will find good
pastures.” John 10:9 NLT
“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot
produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be
fruitful unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 NLT
“Those who ACCEPT my commandments and OBEY them are
the ones who love me. And because they LOVE me, my Father
will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of
them.”” John 14:21 NLT
