Bear the fruitful of the Spirit

 

Galatians 갈라디아서 5:16-26

16내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 좇아 행하라 그리하면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라 17육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스리고 성령의 소욕은 육체를 거스리나니 이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라 18너희가 만일 성령의 인도하시는 바가 되면 율법 아래 있지 아니하리라 19육체의 일은 현저하니 곧 음행과 더러운 것과 호색과 20우상 숭배와 술수와 원수를 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당 짓는 것과 분리함과 이단과 21투기와 술 취함과 방탕함과 또 그와 같은 것들이라 전에 너희에게 경계한것 같이 경계하노니 이런 일을 하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 것이요 22오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 23온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라 24그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라 25만일 우리가 성령으로 살면 또한 성령으로 행할찌니 26헛된 영광을 구하여 서로 격동하고 서로 투기하지 말찌니라

16So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, Discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

2023년 일년동안의 교회 목표를 신앙의 위력을 증인하자(Witness the power of Faith) 했다.

성도는 창조주 하나님의 자녀로서 여호와 하나님이 주시는 권세(요1:12)를 받았다.  

큰산도 옮길만한 믿음(히11:1); 하나님이 주신 말씀대로 된다는 믿음(행27:25); 성도에게 약속하신 그것이 능히 이루어 주실줄 믿는 확신하는 믿음(롬4:21) 안에서 전능자 하나님과 복음이신 예수 그리스도의 증인이 되어야 할 것이다.

그 일을 성도가 감당하기 위해서는 교회생활을 하면서 주님을 맞이할 수 있는  준비를 하자

A.  성령의 열매란?

What is the fruit of the Spirit?

 성령의 열매는 하나님의 생명력을 의미합니다. 열매는 살아있는 나무요, 생명의 힘입니다. 그러므로 좋은 열매를 맺는 좋은 나무가 되기 위해서는 성령안에서 자신을 하나님께 드려 성령의 주도  아래서 내 인격과 마음을 성령이 완전히 다스리게 하여 성령을 좇아 행하면 자연스럽게 성령의 열매가 맺어진다.

성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오레침음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 온유와 절제 다.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

(Galatians 5:22,23) 성령의 열매 9가지를  살펴보면;

하나님을 향한 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평 이다.

이웃을 향한 열매는 오래참음과 자비와 양선 이다.

자신을 향한 열매는 충성과 온유와 절제 다.

 

1.    성령이  역사하시는 결과

What is the result of the manifestation of the Spirit?

 

1)     예수가 살아계신 하나님의 아들이심을 확신 주실 때(마 3:15-17)

Affirmation that Jesus is the Son of the living God

예수님이 의를 이루기 위해 세례요한으로부터 세례를 받고 물에서 올라오실새 하늘이 열리고 하나님의 성령이 비둘기 같이 내려 예수위에 임하였고 하늘로서 소리가 있어  이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하셨다(마3:15-17)

15Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a Dove and alighting on him17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:15-17)

 

2)     보혜사로서  성도를 보호하여 주실 때 (롬8:26)

The Spirit protects us and intercedes on our behalf

“성령도 우리 연약함을 도우시나니 우리가 마땅히 빌 바를 알지 못하나 오직 성령이

 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라”(롬8:26)

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans (Romans 8:26)

 

3)     성도를 죄 가운데서 건져주실 때 (롬8:1,2)

We are saved from sin

이제  그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니 이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 나를 해방하였음라” (롬8:1,2)

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1,2)

 

2.    행동으로 나타나는 믿음의 결과

Actions of faith

엡5:16절에 성령을 좇아 행하라합니다. 성령충만하여 성령의 열매를 맺어야 한다.

성령의 열매를 맺기 위해서

첫째,  씨앗의 문제입니다. First, the sowing

반드시 성령이 내 안에 계셔야 합니다. 마귀나 육체의 욕망이나 세상 것이 들어와서는 않됩니다. 성령이 씨앗이 되어 내 마음에 뿌려져야 한다

둘째, 받아들이는 마음의 문제입니다. Second, acceptance

생명이 들어왔는데 마음의 문을 열고 받아 들이는 문제입니다. 제아무리 귀한 말씀이라도 마음을 열고  받아들여야 한다.

세째, 성장할 수 있게 돌봐야 합니다. Third, effort

        생명이 내 마음에서 자라도록 알맞은 여건을 마련해야 한다.

        한마디로 말하면 아멘으로 순종해야 합니다. 순종할수록 점점 더 충만해진다.      

 

B.  왜 성령의 열매를 맺어야 하는가?

Why do we need to bear the fruit of the Spirit?

 

1.    성령을 선물로 받았기 때문이다( 엡4:13-16)

Because we have received the Spirit as a gift

성령을 선물로 받은 자는 성도다. 성도는 그리스도의 장성한 분량에까지 자라기 위해서는 기도로, 찬송으로 하나님의 말씀으로 양육되고 훈련하여 성장하여 열매를 맺어야 한다.

  “13우리가 다 하나님의 아들을 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 온전한 사람을 이루어 그리스도의 장성한 분량이 충만한데까지 이르리니 14이는 우리가 이제부터 어린 아이가 되지 아니하여 사람의 궤술과 간사한 유혹에 빠져 모든 교훈의 풍조에 밀려 요동치 않게 하려 함이라 15오직 사랑 안에서 참된 것을 하여 범사에 그에게까지 자랄찌라 그는 머리니 곧 그리스도라 16그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 입음으로 연락하고 상합하여 각 지체의 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라 “ (엡4:13-16)

13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (Ephesians 4:13-16)

 

2.    성화의 삶을 살기 위해서다.( 갈2:20)

So that we can live a sanctified life

예수를 살아계신 하나님의 아들로 믿고 세례를 받았을 때 예수 그리스도의 보혈로  죄를 씻음 받고 성령을 선물로 받아 하나님의 양자가 되었다. 그러므로

“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이재는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제  내가  육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라  (갈2:20)

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” (Galatians 2:20)

 

3.    육체의 소욕을 이길 수 있기때문이다.(갈5:16-21)

So that we can overcome the desires of the flesh

바울은 갈라디아 교회에게 성령을 좇아 행하라 말한다. 성령을 좇아 행하면 성장하여 열매를 맺게 되면 육체의 욕심을 이길 수 있다 하였다.

그래서 육체의 소욕 15가지를 열거하면서 이런 일을 행하는 자는 하나님 나라를 유업으로 받을 수 없다고 분명하게 선포하고 있다.

16So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. C.   어떻게 성령의 열매를 맺을 수 있을까?

How can we bear the fruit of the Spirit?

 

1.   말씀을 보고 쉬지말고 기도한다.

Read the scriptures and pray constantly

초대교회 성도들은 성령이 충만하여 복음의 말씀을 듣고 기도하며 교제하고 떡을 떼고 찬송하며 하나님께 영광을 돌렸다.(행 2:42-47)

42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Aats 2:42-47)

말씀은 살아있습니다. 우리의 마음과 생각과 뜻을 감찰하십니다. 하나님이 지으신 것이 하나라도 그앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 만물이 하나님 앞에 다 드러나며(히4:12)

12For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:12,13)

성경말씀은 예수그리스도안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있 게 하며 성경말씀은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하며 또한 하나님의 사람으로 온전케 하며 모든 선한 일을 행하기에 하기 때문입니다. (딤후 3:15-17)

15and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.(2Timothy 3:15-17)

그러므로 말씀을 보고 쉬지말고 기또하므로 하나님의 뜻을 온전하게 알고 기쁨으로 신앙생활을 할 수 있다.

 

2.   하나님 중심으로 살고 모든 일을 다스리라

Live a God centered life

하나님 중심으로 산다는 것은 무슨 일을 하든지 하나님을  마음의 중심에 모시고 살면서 예수님이라면 어떻게 하실까  주님의 뜻을 순종하는 생활을 하는 것이다.

하나님은 창조하신 후 모든 것을 사람에게 맡겨 주셨습니다. 관리하고 다스리고 번성시키라 하셨으니 우리에게 맡겨 주신 것에 감사하며 마음을 다하여 뜻을 다하여 목숨과 힘을 다하여 하나님을 사랑하며 순종하는 것이다.

이렇게 하나님 중심으로 산다면 육체의 일을 버릴 수 있다

“우리는 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 ᄉᆞ 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로다”(롬 14:8)

“8If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:8)

육체의 일을 이기는 방법에 대하여 D.L. 무디는 다음과 같이 예를 들었는데

컵이 책상위에  있습니다. 이 컵에는 더러운 공기가 가득체우져 있습니다. 컵에서 더러운 공기를 빼내려면 어떻게 해야 되겠습니까 ?  이 컵에 맑은 물을 부으면 됩니다. 맑은 물을 가득채우면 더려운 공기가 밀려 나갑니다.  그러나 물을 채우지 않고 무리하게 이 공기만을 빼내고자 진공을 만들고자 한다면 그 유리컵은 깨져버리고 말것입니다.

사랑하는 성도님 마음을 깨끗하게 비우려고 애써본적이 있습니까?  죄를 이기려고 몸부림쳐 본 적이 있습니까? 쓸데없는 일입니다. 육체를 이기는 길은 육체와 반대되는 하나님의 은혜로 채우는데 있습니다. 증오, 미움을 이기는 길은 사랑으로 채우는데 있으며 하나님의 은혜를 채움에 있습니다. 불평과 불만을 이기는 길은 감사하는 길밖에 없습니다. 그리스도의 마음으로 채울때 자신도, 죄도, 이길 수 있다.

 

3.   항상 성령께서 임하실 수 있도록 초대하라

Welcome the Holy Spirit into all aspects of your life

성령을 초대할 수 있는 것은 우리 몸이 성령이 거하시는 전인것을 생각하는 것이다. 육신의 소리를 듣지 말고 영의 소리를 들어야 할 것이다.

영의 소리를 듣기 위해서는 죄를 회개하고 성령님을 의지하는 것이다.

성령께서는 우리가 세상으로 가려고 할 때 교훈하고 책망하고 바르게 하여 의로 교육한다 하였으며

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)

믿음의 주요 온전케 하시는 예수님을 바라보는 것이다.(히12:2)

2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

 

우리에게 주시는 교훈 Today’s Lesson

1.       항상 성령님을 초대하라 Welcome the Holy Spirit always

2.       성령충만하여 행함으로서  열매를 맺으십시요

Be filled with the Spirit and act accordingly so that you can bear the fruit of the Spirit

3.       성령의 열매로 주님의 자녀임을 나타내십시요

Bear the fruit of the Spirit so that you can witness you are a child of God
