4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar and your daughters are carried on the hip.
Isaiah is a summary of the entire Bible
We can say that Isaiah is a summary of the entire bible.
First 39 chapters are filled with judgment. Judah sinned as well as all those around Judah. God firmly states that he will not allow this sin to remain and that he will issue his judgment.
However, the rest of 27 chapters are of hope. The message of the Messiah ad savior coming and dying on the cross and wearing the crown.
Isaiah the prophet?
Today, through the Prophet Isaiah, we too hear the all important message to Arise, Shine!
The Bible calls the saints the children of light.
Ephesians 5:8New International Version (NIV)
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
The darker a place is, the more that place needs light. The light is needed to chase away the darkness. It isn’t the natural light we are talking about but the word of God manifested through saints. God’s word is the light and it is through the word that we can shine the light of God.
1. Why do you need to Shine?
1) Because you received the light
Light is God's light, the character of God.
How did you receive this light?
For God so loved world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
“He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:12)
It is God’s command
Arise! Shine!
2
“Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness.
The Word of God that asks the Saints to stand up and shine.
“This is the message we heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all”(1 John 1:5)
The light came upon the saints
2) The light came upon the saints
Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12)
True Light - Jesus - Life is the Light of the People (John 1:4)
In Him was life, and life was the light of men.
The saints are those who have this light in their hearts. (Matthew 5:14,15) 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
(Matthew 5:14,15)
3) We became children of the light (Ephesians 5:6,8)
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (Ephesians 5:8)
It is an honor for us to belong to the light How happy are you to receive Jesus?
a) The darkness is fear) Those who are in the dark are afraid of the enemies that are not present, and are captivated by the inevitable fear of death.
b) The darkness is sadness There is joy and hope in light, but there is sorrow, pain and suffering in the darkness.
c) The darkness leads to condemnation
2. What do children of the light need to do?
1) Live a life worthy of those that have been reborn.
2) Don’t be ignorant and live a wise life.
3) Discard the delusions of this world and live a humble life
4) Shed the life of sadness and live a joyful life (2Corinthians 6:8-10)
5) Chase away the darkness (Matthew 5:14; 1 John5:9; 1John 1:5)
6) Be guided by the pure light(John 1:6 John 3:30)

3. Bear fruits of the light? The primary colors of the colors are red, blue, and yellow. When these three primary colors are combined, they become black.
The three primary colors of light are red, green, and blue. When these three primary lights are combined, they become white.
The three primary colors of Christian faith are faith, hope, and love.
The three primary colors of Christian character are goodness, righteousness, and truthfulness.
1) The fruit of kindness are
It is a generosity, a wide understanding, a tolerance that embraces all things and a generous love.
2) The fruit of righteousness is living in right standing with God.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him(2 Corinthians 5:21)
God has made us a child to be the righteousness of God in Jesus.
3) The fruit of truth is the absence of deception.
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry our your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks he=is native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.(John 8:44)

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried ,that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas,[b] and then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles
